I like this shop. The prices are reasonable and although there are few choices in tshirts and sweatshirts, most are generally of good quality and design. However, my first experience here was not that great. I paid for one T-shirt and one sweatshirt and was literally out the door when I wanted to exchange a sweatshirt for another one that I saw as I left the store. I asked to exchange what I just bought and the lady at the cashier refused. I shop locally and support locally owned stores as much as I can. However, as a consumer, I feel that locally owned stores should be more flexible and accommodating especially when a request such as an exchange is reasonable. I purchased a shirt for my husband from this shop in a size large (he is not a big guy and generally wears a medium) but this shirt was way too small. I returned the next day to exchange and the woman would not do it without a receipt. I offered to have her look up my credit card and asked if there was anything we could do because we were driving back to our home state that day. The woman had a smug smile the entire time and would not help us under any circumstance. We spent a significant amount of money in this store and my family that lives in the area visits often on their yearly trip to Carp. I am visiting from SC and am handicapped! I walk with a stand up walker! My adult daughter. and I went into the shop. I needed to use the restroom very badly and asked the women if they had a bathroom I could use! She replied, " I have a bathroom but not for the public" we let her know that we came in to buy a few shirts and she didn't seem to care at all.
