My daughter and i went out for Sushi tonight. Upon arrival, we sat down and immediately I noticed a fun family of 3 dads and their 3 daughters (around 9-10 year olds). They were giggling and appeared to be having a really great time. Within minutes a table behind us had to move across the restaurant due to this father/daughter sixtuplet. The yelling, the voices, the drinking were disruptive and only got louder. The table next to us and next to them continued to turn around and tried to politely indicate the noise was very disruptive, however social norms did not seem to be a given to this group. None of us could hear our own table mates. After 20 minutes, I finally got up and politely asked the family to turn their voices down. I was anxious and apologized then said they were ruining our dinner, among others. One of the dads responded by very loudly mocking me and making fun of my request. The girls and other dads immediately joined in. For the next 15 minutes when our food came they tip toed behind me mocking me, they began teasing and making fun of my comments. It became so uncomfortable that my daughter became angry and I requested a to go box and our bill. The restaurant apologized and said "you certainly aren't the only ones. We know it's bad." To which I responded "then why are they still here?" And got no answer. It appeared that the staff were FEARFUL of this family. FEARFUL to ask people to be cordial and respectful that they were not the only patrons in the restaurant. I fully understand their fear after what I endured when being the only person to say something having 2 tables thank me after I did so. But I will never go to the restaurant again, as they chose to allow periods like this to at the tone in the restaurant over the happiness and satisfaction...
Read moreIf I could give ZERO stars, I would. Visited the evening of 10/7/23. The service was non-existent. My friend and I were not seated but instead told we could sit wherever we wanted, which we did. It took nearly 15 minutes after flagging someone down to place our order. We ordered the Ahi Poke Bowl. There were no utensils on the table and the waiter did not bring any with our food. We had to flag someone down for chopsticks and he practically tossed them onto the table. The bowl was 90% rice and 10% fish. The fish was warm, warmer than room temperature. Raw fish at room temperature or higher is problematic. The texture of it looked slick, as if it had been sitting out for quite some time. I couldn't eat it and neither could my friend because we feared getting sick from fish that did not appear to be fresh, was not handled and served at the proper temperature. Not once did the waiter check in to see how we were doing and to ask how the food was. Never have I felt unseen as I did at Sushi Teri. When the waiter came by to clear the table, I shared that we were disappointed with the food and why. Also, I shared that he didn't even ask why we had barely touched our food. The response was, he thought we liked our food and that he would share the concern about the fish. I did hear him mention to someone about the feedback that I gave him. The service was despicable and main entree was inedible. NEVER shall I return and I would NEVER RECOMMEND this...
Read moreI usually love sushi teri regardless of the fact that the service can be slow when it is busy. Unfortunately, last time I tried to go to sushi teri I was treated VERY poorly. Their sign clearly says that they are open until 10pm. I walked in with two friends at 9:40. They told us they were only doing takeout orders, we said no problem and asked to see a menu. We were instantly sassed that we needed to hurry and order right away and that they didn't have time to wait for me to take a quick look at the menu. If your sign says you are open until 10pm, then you should be open until 10pm. AND your staff needs to learn some manners. We all have long days, but the server there was RUDE! I won't be getting my sushi in...
