We are visiting Carpinteria for the week and my wheelchair armrest pivot bolt broke. I went to find a makeshift repair bolt and ended up having the owner, Fidel, find the parts and repair it for me in the store. His son who was helping his “papa” that day said his father recently purchased the store and knew how to fix just about anything.
Fidel was fiddling with my wheelchair and trying different bolt and nut combinations for at least twenty minutes. During that time I observed several customers come and go, while he and his son answered questions. I also had time to look around at prices and they seemed very reasonable.
