Lots of vegan options although the only vegan cheese they had was the shredded Daiya, which couldn't be used for any of the other dishes besides pizza. The food was delicious and the server was attentive, although it wasn't that busy when we went. The decor was something to look at, with vintage bicycling photos and other odd decor. We enjoyed our experience and would come again

I was cruising down Linden Ave. In Carpinteria and stumbled upon a GEM. This place sucked me in with the vibe and epic beach town boardwalk feel. I ordered "The Rincon Special" pizza and it really was so special. The combo of caramelized onions and bacon is a beautiful sweet and salty mash up that is only complimented and put over the top by all the other top notch ingredients.

Classic pizza. They are high quality. There’s nice indoor and outdoor seating. The pizza was made quickly. You can split a large pizza between two people. They also let you split the large pizzas half one type of pizza and half another. My pizza in the picture is the Besto Pesto and Purple Love.

I eat here over the summer with my family and had a terrible experience. While our Waitress was nice, the manager was a real piece of work.

To start, I tried to order the Meatball Sandwich which they do not serve at dinner. They do serve Spaghetti & Meatballs and they offer Meatballs on their Pizza… They couldn’t just grab a roll and put the meatballs on the roll for me?

So… I ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs of which they served my Spaghetti & Meatball Soup! Yes, Soup! There was so much water in the bottom of the dish that I complained to our waitress. The waitress took my dish to the manager who was behind the counter area. I then noticed the manager mopping up the water from my bowl with napkins! I found this to be incredibly disgusting and inappropriate.

I called the manager out on doing this and she argued with me and sad “I did no such thing and I can prove it, let’s go watch the security cameras.” These were not her exact words but it pretty much sums up her stance and attitude.

I refused to accept this tainted dish and asked for them to remake it. They remade it, delivered it to me and again it was Spaghetti & Meatball Soup! This picture is the water I removed from the second dish they made me.

I contacted the owner through Facebook and she never responded. Really? I would think a Restaurant owner would want to take care of their customers, not this owner; she simply cares more about her staff then her customer experience.

I decided to hold off on my review until I could make it back up the coast. Well, I was there again last week, the food was no better and the management was still rude.

I will never spend another dime in this restaurant and I highly recommend that you avoid it too, it’s just not worth the money and...

1st time visitor - I live in Ojai and wanted to try something different for a Friday night out. I'm not all that familiar with what Carpenter has to offer so I Googled restaurants and decided to try Nutbelly. I'm glad that I did. Took my wife and Lab with me, hoping they were dog friendly so we could all sit out and enjoy the beach sites. We arrived and found they had several cafe tables on the sidewalk which worked out perfectly. Our waitress was quick to bring menus and get us set up with drinks - one caveat to sitting on the sidewalk, no alcoholic drinks so we stuck with sparkling water. Kind of a bummer but there's a couple great brewpubs within walking distance so it wasn't a big deal. We ordered a salad and a large half Hawaiian, half Greek pizza. Delicious! We ate, watched the beach folks walk by and enjoyed the cool evening. I'll...

The restaurant is very nice. Came for dinner with 9 wheelchairs because of a tournament that we were having in town. All of the chairs plus 14 able bodied people were seated. Anna seemed overwhelmed and quite stressed. Her reasoning was that there was a lot of traffic in the area today. But what would you expect with a street fair right in front of your business today that was advertised by your city? Most of the service was friendly and fast but rushed as if they were attempting to hurry and get us out of the place. Food was tasty. Pizzas are light and flavorful. Salads were good. We ordered almost one of everything on the menu and were happy. As long as you don't go when the city decides to have a street fair I hope the service is better, not rushed and not...
