I was very impressed with this bookstore that's operated by the Friends of the Carson City library. There's an excellent selection of quality books at reasonable prices. I came away with a nice stack of books for 35 dollars, about the cost of one new hardcover book. The store is located in a former residence. The volunteers staffing the store are great.

So glad we got to check out Browsers Bookstore while visiting Carson City. Love used bookstores and Friends of the Library ones are even better! So much to choose from! Multiple rooms full of books. A must visit when visiting Carson. Take a break from crowded Lake Tahoe and check out this peaceful and well organized bookstore.

Its not that i didn't like this place it was nice but, they didnt have much books that i wanted by a certain authors. However i really liked some that i saw that looks like i could read a few. But its very small and though the ladies there are helpful when asked, it didn't feel super welcomed. Also no comic books at all, big 0 for comics so have no idea why Google listed it as part books + comics as a second option in listing for...
