So they say they the community is the most important thing to the Nugget since starting to serve them over 60 years ago. Since the new owners took over the place recently, each year the experience has diminished dramatically each time. This year tops it off. We are staying with a large group at the city center hotel owned by the Nugget and waited 45 minutes to check in at 10 pm Friday night while the lady discussed rate differences between the Internet and them and they would have to fight the company on the Internet, no I'll be right with you, or maybe let me get the lady in the rear office to help you , once she did come out and we thought finally we can check in, as she started helping us after 45 minutes she started to get involved in the dispute with the other customer. So to top it off, we as a group with reservations as usual for the last ten years that I've known of went to dinner at 7 pm. All spread out out at different tables. Why? That becomes apparent later. We order our food and 2 hours later after every one at the table received their food at different times and have finished their dinner, the waitress says my dinner was given to the other large table. We will have your dinner in 4 minutes. 15 minutes later and no food we asked for a manager. After 10 minutes of waiting for the manager we decided to leave and noticed the waitress was carrying my plate. No thanks I lost my appetite. I later talked to the manager of the casino who was extremely nice and professional and explained the other group was actually the owners of the Nugget. I don't think she knew my dinner was given to them. In conclusion the past few years since the Nugget got new owners the service ,professionalism and management is very poor. Unfortunate I see no improvement in the future since I have given the new owners the benefit of the doubt over and over and it has become over the top the most terrible...
Read moreMy Mother passed away in April this year 2025 and I was looking for a place to do her celebration of life, I got a hold of the nugget and spoke with the OWNER Dean DiLullo. Everything went great at first. He responded to emails and phone calls. On May 20th I went to look at the room told him I loved it. I was then told he'd send me over menu options the next day. On the 21st I never received an email, then May 22nd came I sent an email asking for the menus, he emailed me back asking what time I was holding it and then was told he'd send over the menus and still never got them. I called again on Friday to be ignored and sent to voicemail. So I went memorial weekend hoping that on Tuesday the 27th I'd have the menus. Nope didn't get menus. So Tuesday the 27th I called and emailed and was still met with silence, I ended up going in to talk in person, Dean explained to me that he was having the chef make up new menus and he wasn't ignoring me....thats weird because all he had to do was email me back and explain that. Well on May 28th Wednesday I finally got the menus. I picked the menu I wanted and then was told he'd send over the agreement on Thursday the 29th, and would you believe it Thursday came and went and never got an agreement. Friday Saturday and Sunday also went by and still got nothing and no response. Finally Monday June 2nd came and still no agreement. So my stepfather called him and Dean told my step father he'd send the agreement he promises. Well still didn't get that agreement till Tuesday the 3rd. Dean your professionalism sucked. It's sad that you are the owner and the one who heped set up this event. I was already grieving the loss of my mother and the way you acted just added to the stress Of this process. I have told everyone I know about the way you handled everything and kept all emails of being ignored. I will never recommend the...

For players who prefer the latest high-tech slots, there are a few modern machines available, but the Nugget’s selection of games are mostly for classic slot enthusiasts. The machines are very well-maintained, and payouts tend to be pretty frequent, but just like every other casino, luck plays a big part in the experience. While the Nugget is known for its slots, it does offer a limited lselection of table games. They have blackjack, poker, and roulette.
