The unhelpful, unfriendly friendly staff makes shopping there really unpleasant. I lost my wallet in there about a month ago, i realized i had lost it when i was loading my items on the conveyor belt for the cashier to ring up. I was in a panic, apologized, and asked if she needed me to go put my items back. She said yes! That was surprising...!!!!! But i did, as there were other customers in line. I searched up and down the aisles, notifying more than one (NOT BUSY) employee, and not a single one offerred to help me search. Customers were however, while the staff watched. After giving up my search, I asked to speak to a manager so i could leave my name & number. He took it and simply said, "I'll post it." I left very disappointed in the lack of customer service. About an hour after returning home a total stranger knocked on my door and handed me my wallet. She had found it in an aisle. She said she didn't feel comfortable leaving it with store employees. The next day i returned to the store wanting to speak to the owner whom i know is local. The majority of the front end staff recognized me and didn't ask once if i had found my wallet. When a female was called to give me the information on how to contact the owner (again, she was there the night before when i had lost my wallet), she was rude and wouldn't even write the information down herself. She told one of the cashiers to write it down as she told them the name and number. So unprofessional. I rarely go in anymore There are maybe 2 ladies there who are friendly and nice, both young ladies, and i thank them and let them know i appreciate...
Read moreThe layout is AWESOME. The new store is spacious and sparkling. I see new additions in the frozen section and a variety of alternate/vegan/gluten free items that just tempt you. But, the ONE sole reason I shop at Grocery Outlet is gone. My kids are rioting because I have gone back 4x now and haven't been able to score THE ONLY CHICKEN TENDERS THEY WILL EAT. Besides McDonald's that is. And even then, they prefer the ones I used buy at Grocery Outlet. Rocky Mountain chicken tenders or patties or the grilled chicken pieces. It was in a dark blue and white bag with a pic of, what else? The Rocky Mountains, of course. Very superior taste and the price was perfect. $5.99 for a 2lb bag. Oh, and the Momma Mia's mini pizza packs. Haven't seen them either. Atleast they still carry my magical shampoo and conditioner. Burnt my hair with bleach, and it felt like dry, dead hay, but that shampoo/conditioner? Makes my hair silky smooth.....and I dont have to do the whole "leave it in for 5-10minutes for it to have the same effect. Avvo I think, the purple flower herbal one. Comes in a light tan bottle with dark green spouts. Good price too!! Hate that they don't have our preferred nuggies tho. Kids are gourmet critics of this particular foodie realm, so, if they say it's the best,...
Read moreThis woman was completely rude to a man trying to buy one item slammed all the items that he had touched in the store and demanded that he pay for them as he was already standing in line to purchase his item then she proceeded to get in an argument in front of everyone for him to pay for the items he touched throughout store then She refused to allow him to pay for the item he was already in line for as he was asking her why she was acting like that and redirect her for her actions infront of other customers as she was attempting to kick him out. I was the next person in line After seeing this manager down talk this man in front of everybody I grabbed the item to pay with my items and she SNATCHED the item out of my hands and told me I wasn’t going to pay for it then she proceeded to tell me I would also be kicked out and she wasn’t going to allow me to buy the item as I grabbed the item back from her. So I left my items due to her poor customer service and lack of management. I believe her...
