Mongolian&Sushi — Restaurant in Carteret

This is the first time I went with my boyfriend. And we both enjoyed the food there so much during the lunch.

The buffet was clearly labeled as well as kept very clean. Meats And seafood were clearly And cleanly separated. The same with the vegetable buffet. It was so many good vegetables there. The appetizer bar was also great fresh fried foods, The hot and sour soup was great . The sauce bar was really great too and love the concept of putting them into small cups. You can see how fresh everything was cooked with the center grill.

The sushi offered on the buffet was great and you can also get other premium rolls separately. Including drinks like bubble tea.

The restaurant itself was also super clean. We got there around 1:30 and it was not busy at all. Jailynn and the front of house created us and led us to our table. They also explained the process and were super friendly, making sure that we were okay and checked up on us .The cook also came out to ask us how everything was. Everyone was super friendly.

Also honestly for the price that we got for lunch, the value is quite amazing for a buffet. You can make so many different combinations with all the different ingredients and sauces. And you can get multiple plates. I was only able to eat one but I had literally piled on so much stuff and I had gotten a plate of the appetizers too . Definitely is worth it because you also get everything freshly cooked. Maybe they can another bar for maybe like additional hot items or maybe additional raw ingredients, but it's great and highly recommend it.

We had such a wonderful experience at this new sushi hibachi buffet! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service. Everyone was so friendly and joyful, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

One of the highlights was the self-serve hibachi bar. You can build your own plate by choosing from a variety of noodles or rice, meats, seafood, veggies, and sauces—then watch as the chefs cook it right in front of you! We chose to enjoy the show and were impressed by how quickly and skillfully they prepared our food—it was ready in under 10 minutes and absolutely delicious.

After finishing our hibachi, we explored the sushi bar and sampled a few other bites. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was a standout, with a great mix of classic rolls and creative options. Let not forget to mention everything we ate was unlimited!

Throughout our meal, the staff checked in often to offer drink refills, extra utensils, and even asked if we’d like ice cream for dessert. We were so full and satisfied by the end that we had to politely decline, but the offer was so thoughtful. To top it all off, when the check arrived, one of the servers surprised us with a small gift—a generous and sweet gesture that left a lasting impression.
