Iāve been a patient at this office for many years and have always appreciated the doctors and secretarial staff ā theyāve been consistently helpful and professional, especially Dr Sjovall . However, my recent experience with their prescription refill process was deeply frustrating and disappointing.
I submitted a routine refill request through their online system, but the incorrect amount was sent to the online pharmacy that was insufficient to be filled. No one contacted me to explain that I needed to come in, and despite making multiple calls to get this corrected, I received no response for days. When someone finally returned my call, they took no responsibility, simply saying, āThis is the first Iām seeing it.ā During our conversation, he seemed to have little understanding of why a patient might be upset about having to chase down a basic, routine refill ā especially when dealing with a chronic prescription.
He eventually agreed to send in two weeks prescription because I had to come in, but it was sent incorrectly once more to the online pharmacy. When I called back, I spoke with a manager who not only refused to apologize but actually told me I was āacting like a victimā and should āknow betterā given how long Iāve been a patient. Rather than showing empathy or acknowledging their repeated mistakes, I was essentially blamed for being upset.
While the care from the doctors has been good, the lack of accountability and basic customer service from certain staff members is truly mind-boggling. Patients deserve better communication, respect, and responsibility from those handling their healthcare. I will miss the care of Dr. Sjovall but will move on to a place that truly values its patients. A tip for management an Iām sorry let me fix this for you would have sufficed. Arguing with the patient, especially when youāre wrong, is bad for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had originally gone to PM pediatrics for my 3 year olds fever which turned out to be stemming from an ear infection. That office visit was complete opposite compared to my visit at Doctors Medi Center with Nurse Julia L. and Dr. Sijo. Nurse Julia was extremely welcoming and warm and my daughter took a liking to her immediately. My daughter was greeted with some horses as a welcome gift I guess, nevertheless, she loved them. Nurse Julia was very thorough when asking me about my previous visit to different facility. The wait between seeing Nurse Julia and Dr. Sijo was about your normal waiting time. Dr. Sijo is probably one of the best doctors I've seen for my daughter, even better than our primary. He was extremely kind, he acknowledged me and then my daughter which doesn't really happen when we go see a doctor. Most times the doctor just talks to me the whole time which makes my daughter not want to go and she doesn't feel seen. Dr. Sijo was able to look at my daughters ears with her own consent and me not having to turn her or force her to listen. That's what I really appreciated from Nurse Julia and Dr. Sijo, the connection they were able to make with my daughter, the patient, and make her feel comfortable and laugh. My daughter came home and immediately wanted to watch Luca because Dr. Sijo was talking about it with her! I would recommend going there and requesting Nurse Julia and Dr. Sijo if you are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas a Great office. Well I have been a patient for addiction and some other issues with Dr. Lipman. He is currently switching onto retirement. God bless HOWEVER! Dr: BAREY J BENZING,PA-C As I come for my refills, and as he fills some way about the names of my medications. He spoke to me like I was a homeless junky begging for spare change. I pray for all his patients! He may know a few more things than me. But having your patient write this in tears for how you spoke to her⦠wake up dude Iām glad life was so kind to put you on that pedestal. But some of us never got one, n donāt need you throwing stones at them. This is my second time feeling this way after seeing this doctor. Sad! So ya donāt make your appointment with Mr Benzing unless you want to feel like he rather run you over then actually treat you. I asked him to look at splinters I had for over a month ā give it time your body will either absorb them or push them outā he couldnāt bother to even touch my hand and look at them.:. š¤·āāļø if I do end up with a infection I will sue him. Cuz Iām sure he didnāt even write it down in my chart. He couldnāt get out the room fast enough n the longer he spoke to me the meaner, nastier n...
