POLISHED — Local services in Cary

Horrible. Got them done Saturday June 30 it is now Thursday July 5. My nails were cut ridiculously short to the point it hurt. I had to tell them 3 times I wanted a new gel set and stop her from painting my nails before she listened. The lady that actually did the set was rushing the whole time, glued the false tips to my skin after cutting the nail down to nothing. Applied the gel so that it looked like there was already a week of growth. She listened well to the way I wanting the polish, but it is uneven and warped. The nails are crooked and shorter than what I asked for. I noticed visible chipping the following day when I had only gone out to eat, see a movie, and sleep after getting them done; nothing that would cause that damage. Tuesday morning one nail popped off without any pain or even noticeable feeling which tells me it wasn't done properly, this morning another popped off and I wasn't even aware until I saw that it was gone. I am absolutely livid with the horrible quality of work done as well as the way they spoke to me and my boyfriend. First and last time I will ever go to this business, they tried to pry into my relationship and attempted to boss us around and force us into talking about things that were none of their business. I wish I could post pictures to show the horrid state of my nails.

I just left “Polished” nail salon in Cary, NC and thanks to Helen, I feel and look like a million bucks! Helen had her work cut out for her today!! Without any judgment or laughter, she managed to save my eyebrows and actually gave them discernible shape, after I attempted plucking at them, on my own. Next, without batting an eye at the condition my feet were in, she bravely tackled my pedicure. My feet look and feel amazing!! I joke in my comments but I truly appreciate how awesomely I am treated by Helen and the rest of the staff. I have diabetic neuropathy in both feet which can make it quite difficult to have a pain free pedi. Helen knows exactly what to do, how much pressure to apply, and what massage techniques to use. Extremely painful and unpleasant exsperiance. Went in for a gel manicure ended up with over filed nails which burnt horribly then she began cleaning under my nails and dug the drill so far under my nail began to bleed and it brought tears to my eyes I talked to the manager to talk about their sanitation bc I didn't want an infection and I looked over and they had no alcohol in the cups to clean the tools!!!! They made me bleed with preused tools! They showed no remorse and basically blamed me !! One day you will have a law suit from giving someone an uncurable disease. I have never been treated so poorly and hurt so bad by a business before. Health inspection needs to come in and desperately watch this place before someone is seriously hurt. Enter qt your own risk.
