The pizza here hands down is the best in the area. Iâve been here three times and one time the customer service was great. The other two times, I guess I was given the âtrueâ New York experience đ I initially had a lot of questions about pricing and size because I have a special needs child and I want to be able to come here every week and order the same thing and get charged the same price. Three Sundays ago, the girls working at the register reminded me of those âmean girlsâ bc there was a lot of eyerolling (I caught ya! đ) Last Sunday, the girl and the guy (manager I think) were amazing and really kind and personable. This last time, I received incorrect information (âwe donât have personal pizzasâ when the week prior, the manager gave me the pricing on these ânonexistentâ pizzas). Itâs not just the incorrect information- it was the way the information was delivered. The gentleman was really rude and short. I saw him being kind to other patrons, so maybe itâs just me đ What makes matters even more uncomfortable is that you have the Regulars who sit right by the cash register, drinking beer, watching the game, and you know they are enjoying any type of conflict youâre having at the register đđ. Aside from that, the pizza is great and the garlic bread is to-die for... really. Despite these little customer service âblips,â I will definitely return. I did feel compelled to mention the inconsistent customer service, in the hopes that someone will see it and try to improve. I donât enjoy going into a business knowing that I have to argue to get what I want....
Read moreBeing from NJ, I have a high bar for NY style pizza. The crust should be thin and crispy and should not flop over when held aloft. The sauce should be slightly sweet, topped with freshly grated mozzarella cheese. A Margherita pizza should have a good balanced amount of fresh basil. The one from Brothers was very good. Could have used a little more cheese and more basil but the taste and texture were excellent. Also ordered a cheesesteak which is always a challenge outside of the Philadelphia area. The one here included green peppers, onions and mushrooms standard. Youâd be hard pressed to find a cheesesteak in the Philly area with green peppers but outside of Philly everyone seems to think theyâre essential. Otherwise, it could have used more cheese but it was certainly tasty. Overall, food and service were good, especially so far...
Read moreSo...we order a pizza, go in to pick it and notice one of the cooks in the back not wearing a mask. Can tolerate that, but he is on his cellphone (no gloves) showing one of the other staff members pictures on his phone, cussing and laughing. Puts his phone up then grabs food from the topping area and proceeds to eat it right in front of everybody! Didn't wash his hands, didn't have gloves on! Lord knows where his phone was prior to this,I'm sure it goes where everybody else's phone goes, bathroom, tables, pockets. The lady at the register was nice and gave me the money back. From recent reviews there seems to be an ongoing trend with "lack of oversight from management." This is disgusting! Right now every establishment is under a microscope. Not eating on the prep line should be common sense. Definitely lost a long...
