T N Nails — Local services in Cary

Been coming here for years to see Katie, one night she was not in I had my nails done by another nice lady, although she was nice she took 1.5 doing my fill in and the polish was so thick it was peeling off the next morning, I told the lady I did not like them and her excuse was "the polish". I was in a hurry to leave and went back the next morning and told Katie I wanted a polish change. Got my polish change, went to tip her n she said I owe $15. She knew my nails looked terrible then proceeds to tell me if it was the same color she wouldn't charge me but being that I switched colors she had to charge me. I said well why didn't you tell me that then before you started? Also, as a business they should have fixed any mistakes any of their workers do and the customer should always leave happy. I should have not had to pay for the polish change because if she would have painted them right the first time instead of 8 coats, it would have been fine, but they lost a customer and I will never recommend anyone to go there because they are all about their money and do nails however they want to do to them! The number one rule in a business is the customer is always right and always listen to your customer, because one little polish change would not break them or make...

I have been to TN Nails 3 times and all 3 times I got a manicure with the OPI Axxium gel polish. The first time the gel polish stayed on ok...about 10 days (which is average for me..not sure why it doesnt seem to last that long on my nails but thats a separate issue). The second time I got them done the polish had ALL peeled off 4 days later. I went in and explained what happened and they fixed it for free, which I appreciated. But now it's 5 days later and 2 nails have peeled off. Sorry to say that I won't be returning.

Their price is low for gel polish (I think its $23) but I wonder if they use some sort of product that prevents it from sticking as long. Or maybe they don't cure it properly under the lights? I'm not sure but it's not worth saving a few buck if it's not...
