Cha House Cary — Restaurant in Cary

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!! I ordered a Dirty Tiger with extra boba. I ended up receiving a “Double Dirty Tiger” which has two shots of espresso and is completely different from what I originally ordered. When I went to correct the drink I was immediately SCOLDED by the employee and the manger behind the counter! On top of their open display of embarrassing their customer they told me that I should’ve known that this is a tea house and most of their drinks contain caffeine which couldn’t be farther from the issue. I asked them to please remake my drink and they refused saying that in their POS system it shows that I ordered what I WRONGLY received. I told them that there must’ve been a misunderstanding when it was entered because I clearly said DIRTY TIGER WITH EXTRA BOBA and they said that they would not remake it for me and if I wanted it then I would have to pay them again. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ROBBERY!!!!!! Needless to say I will never be coming back again and I will do my due diligence to tell everyone I know to not patronize this joke of a business. Your employees act like there aren’t plenty of other tea houses around to patronize that will give you teas just as good if not better without the terrible employees and business practice. We started to come to this Cary location to get bubble tea when it just opened. Since then, I keep providing feedback to the cashier every time I pickup bubble tea about the top of the to go cup never be able to be sealed, so the bubble tea would spilled out all over the car. Then we had to send to car wash. It already happened 3 times in a roll. however, nothing improved over time. For the meal box, we usually order popcorn chicken and pork chop rice. It tasted good last year. This year the food quality dropped a lot. The chicken taste very plain without any basil. The pork chop is not salted very plain no flavor. After couple times order still no improvement, we decided to give it one last time try. The meal box still taste plain. I would have given 5-plus stars up until a couple of months ago but lately, there have been some changes and not for the better. I'm a creature of habit and always order the same thing: an iced oolong tea with peach and the tofu snack. What's happened? Now, the tea tastes like regular iced tea (watered down) and the peach flavor is weak as well I used to rave about the tea at Cha House because it was so strong and you could actually taste the oolong flavor. The same drink order at the Cary location was no better. Also, the tofu snack is not the same. At the Raleigh location, it seems to be overdone (maybe the frying oil needs to be changed?) and the texture is not as crunchy as before. In Cary, it was the opposite, the tofu seemed to be underdone; maybe a couple of minutes more to get that golden color and crunch!
