The store has some cute stuff. It's easy to get in, access what you want to see and maneuver the aisles, but it is quite small. The man behind the counter does NOT stop talking. He invited us to church, asked about our travels and where we live, and then proceeded to insult our hometown telling us "back in the 1980s (his) extended family left (our hometown) because it was so terrible". Dude, you aren't winning customers. Also, 1980 was 40+ years ago. Spent the day exploring Mammoth Cave with cousins and tracing family history. I had seen The Rooster’s Crow Marketplace on Facebook and we all decided to make a trip over to Cave City and find this unique gift shop. Scott greeted us when we entered with his charming personality and knowledge of Cave City. It was like speaking to an old friend and made our visit well worth the time. I stopped by this store to get a bird bath. I was met with the nicest man who checked me out. Had a very pleasant conversation with him. As I was looking around I noticed they have the cutest gift ideas. This place is a gem! I will definitely be back.
