For the cashier who said "I bet you will" Don't waits your time here. Went to buy a saw. The new cashier asked how to deal with the item. The two other girls at the counter said we are a new store so we have the item just ring him up. One of the girls tells me she will meet me at the shipping door. I pay for me item go to the shipping door and ring the doorbell and wait 5 min and then go back inside. The cashier says they are just looking for the item so I go back and ring the doorbell again. Still no answer. Another man shows up about 10 min later and rings the bell and 30 seconds later someone pops out with his compressor. As this is happening I walk over and hand him my receipt to which lady who told the guy to ring me up said she couldn't find it. They then proceed to leave me in the back of the store for about 10 min while they go wandering around. To come back to we can get you a return for the item or put it on backorder for you. They tried to them blame the new cashier even though they told him to ring me up. I returned the item and then asked to talk with the manager who wasn't there. Talked with the assistant and asked if there was anything they could do about holding me there for an hour and chargning my card un-necessarily. Told me to have a nice day. I said I'd leave a review and the cashier who told the new guy to do it responded with "I bet you will". Go to town, Don't waist...
Read moreThey did have what I was looking for. It took a lot of multiple times, asking Jaime for help. She was more concerned about ducking off in the back isle eating food than helping me locate the item. I picked up the trash off of the floor, she continued to walk over. I also picked up packs of zip ties off the floor near the register. I didn't get a thank you, so I said you're welcome. Still no thank you, just a grunt. I attempted to have a light friendly conversation. I told her they know me well at the harbor freight, since my mother was killed after being attacked by two German Sheppards and I've been renovating her house. She proceeded to grunt and then said, "okay". I told her that her instruction to the tool I needed was vague and didn't understand. She didn't take that feedback other than insulting me. Not a friendly smile. Not an open energy. Very disconnected. Extremely incapable of any emotion. Not a friendly woman at all. I don't understand how she's a senior manager being she lacks the skills required to be in a position of customer service. I guess it just shows that you no longer need to be highly qualified for the position. You only need to be...
Read moreFirst time at this Harbor Freight. I think that whatever business model they use should be taught to most other stores, no matter what they sell. Especially walmart! Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable, polite and not in that fake way, and quick. Talk about efficiency and it done right. Everyone there deserves a raise in my book. I bought a generator and with three people employed there, the questions were answered even a hypothetical one. I was rung up, and during that half minute I was asked a logical question which found I needed one more item and they even brought it to my car and loaded it. My back is greatful and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Amazing. When everyone in the world acts like a bunch of idiots take a break and get some "how it's supposed to be time" at...
