Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Cave Creek

The only reason I'm giving this store two stars is because the cashier and the lady that helped us out in the feed section were very nice and polite, but other than that I would give it one star. The store was a mess, it was like traversing a rat maze to get anywhere and accomplish purchasing anything. There were loads of stuff in the aisles,, you could barely get a cart through and some areas I had to stop my cart leave my things there and walk around to get what I needed and come back to my cart. We asked someone where the horse wormers were and he was looking in the cat and dog wormer section, you need to train your employees better. In addition it's very dangerous the way the things were loaded in the hallways in case someone trips. If you have product to unload you need to do it more professionally or at a better time of the day. The shelves were empty in the horse area, and with as many horses that live in Cave Creek that is just unbelievable. Honestly I don't know who's in charge of this store but you've got a lot of work to do here. And I saw a review from one year ago that gave this store a one-star and some of the reasons were the same reasons I gave it a poor review today. The answer back from the store management to him was virtually useless, and apparently in a year they haven't learned anything from...

I have been shopping at Tractor Supply fo the padt5 years. We are new to Arizona moving here 4 years ago. I started shopping at the Cave Creek store. Since Covid I have noticed cudtoner service in most businesses has gone away. The cave creek TS is not one of those businesses this store and their staff are supper helpful in the store. I had an issue on a weed cutter I purchased and took it back and they didn’t have a replacement in stock so they called around and found a store that had one and they delivered it to my house the next day. Outstanding service and standing behind what they sell. Unfortunately the replacement machine suffered the same as the first. When I went into the store today Jason was the person that took care of me. He showed me a different machine that looked much more Heavy duty than the one I bought. I did buy their power plus protection plan. They gave me a refund no questions asked . I Got my refund and it has already showed up as a credit on my credit card. Great place to shop for most of your home projects plus pet supplies and clothing. 5 stars is not enough I would have given them 10 if it would have been available.thank you for your help and outstanding customer...

Some unfortunate changes. For one, the store isn’t as clean and orderly as it was. For another, the staff seems tense and harried. I can understand this based on a recent change in management.

In fact, I asked for the manager’s contact to share a couple of observations, always with consideration, and found he subsequently threatened the staff with termination if they shared his contact again.

Today was my last visit. I stopped for propane and have a farm on which I have a water heater in our wash rack. I’ve always received an agricultural tax exemption on the propane but was told that unless I’m heating a barn (in Arizona, no less), or an orchard, it does not qualify for the exemption. The sage advice offered was that I could remember to deduct it on my schedule F.

This was the first time those parameters had been shared, by anyone at any store. If in fact those two categories are inaccurate, I’ll alert others in the community of this policy change (as opposed to a legitimate SRS guideline as indicated).

From what I’ve experienced to date, the new top-down management approach seems to be doing a wonderful job at losing business. This I can only intuit this is the new business...
