So this is titled under "Cave Spring Corners", but the picture is of Kroger, so I'm going to write this review based upon my experience and opinion of Cave Spring Corners KROGER, not the entire complex. If I am incorrect, please remove my review. That being said, this has to be one of the most ill-planned and unpleasant Kroger stores I have ever visited. The place is completely unorganized, and when you do find the location of where the product would be that you're looking for, it's rarely on the shelf or in stock. The worst thing that I noticed (and most unpleasant for me) was that the isles are way, WAY too close together. There is hardly any room to maneuver around others at all, and Heaven forbid you leave your cart for a few seconds to go hunting down one of the phantom products. It was simply unpleasant. With a little thought, some slight remodeling, and proper stock on hand, it would be great. It's not a dirty store, and I've never had any unpleasant experiences with...
Read moreCave Spring Corners shops are assembled in a strip mall anchored at one end by a branch of Kroger Grocery Stores and on the other end by a Virginia ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control ) store. The mall is bordered and accessed by the busy sometimes chaotic Brambelton Avenue (one entrance near a fast food store on the southeast), and a some what less frantic Garst Mill entrance on the northeast side. The reason for my awarding of only four stars is the parking is crowded, and the parking lot is exceptionally busy on Friday afternoons and evenings. Some of the stores included in Cave Spring Corners strip mall are Hamrick's, a home and clothing discount store, a Dollar General store part of a bargain retail chain, the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Roanoke, and a beauty products supply store. Rental of the smaller shops between the two anchor stores is...
Read moreCave Spring Corners is an older strip mall in SW Roanoke County. Kroger and Hamericks plus a ABC store serve as anchors on each end. The anchors do well, with generally many shoppers, with light shopping at the minor stores in between. The minor stores tend in the middle tend to change, except Dollar General. Close by parking can sometimes be difficult during busy times, but you can always find a parking spot if you're willing to walk. Accessible parking is available, and two major pedestrian crossing areas are street marked and with multiple stop signs. All the oast issues with parki g lot flooding and sinkholes have been resolved. Overall, a nice shopping site for the local area. Easy to get in and out using. Brambleton Ave or...
