Bought a $1,500 handgun from these people and I bought their extended protection plan that included putting on new optics onto the gun. I go in to put on new optics and they tell me they can't do it without sending the gun away for 2 to 4 weeks. That was never told to me up front. Then the Manager of the store Lance who left me sitting there for two and a half hours after I called down to set up a time for him to come in and and have me get my sites put on because I live 140 mi around trip from the store I get there he's not there I dropped the gun off I come back later he's still not working on it and then he finally came out and tell me that they don't have the right tool to do it. Then I'm like why didn't you tell me this on the phone blah blah blah blah and then he regenerates into a school kid started calling me names and started telling me that I should come over after work and meet him in the parking lot so he can kick my ass. Well I'm a 61-year-old veteran of the United States army disabled on top of it. That and what else ensued in the store is absolutely unacceptable after he told me he was going to kick my ass I switched from concealed carry (I have Permit) to open carry and then he got scared because they saw they had a gun on my hip. Anyway this guy also tried to steal the valor of being a veteran by telling me about how all these other people that work for him are veterans and this and that when I ask him directly if he himself was a veteran of course he said no. So then I get kicked out of the store and told that if I ever return I'm trespassing. Well look at it however you want I'm just saying this is no place for people to go to expect good customer service. And if you're a veteran I'd recommend you try to get your stuff somewhere else. I'm a retired barber who retired with a five-star review for service. I expect it when I'm a customer. I did not receive it here. This guy claims he's got video of everything and that happened during our conversation I would sure would like him to show it so he could show the world how he treated a customer that A.bought an expensive gun B. paid for the protection plan C. ordered sites to be put on for it because I bought the protection plan D. call down to set a time to come in and then E. was treated like crap by every one of the employees involved because they were afraid of their...
Read moreIt's not hard to love this store (what an understatement!), but today was my second time working with Rick in the fishing department. Being served by Rick is a true joy. He is one of the nicest, most competent and knowledgable people I have ever met. He provided excellent and very well reasoned advice. He helped me find some great fly rods ( which had to be special ordered) AND he personally set up 2 finfine reels with backings, lines, tippets and leaders.
