This was a berry bar a few months ago, and now offers pasta and hot sandwiches in addition to the fresh/raw food. We wanted to like it, but the previous reviews are spot-on. I ordered an $8 cup of spaghetti, which was under-cooked (not al dente, but hard, flour-flavored and thoroughly unappetizing), topped with cold meatballs. My spouse had a bratwurst sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup, which was served well before my pasta, enough so it was almost finished before my dish came out of the kitchen. The brat was cooked all the way through, and served in a smashed egg bun -- but not panini-smashed, just mangled. Curiously, the onion was served in the bun, but the sauerkraut was in a little condiment cup on the side. This is not a bistro yet, despite the re-branding. "Tony" needs to take a serious look at how his hot food is produced and served. At the very least, cooked food needs to be cooked all the way!

I really wanted to love Tony’s Bistro—I’ve heard great things and was excited to try it through DoorDash. I ordered a fruit bowl and appreciated being able to customize it with fruits like bananas, strawberries, mangos, and peaches. Unfortunately, the bowl only came with mangoes and raspberries, and it included almonds, which I didn’t request. It was a bit disappointing not to receive what I selected. I also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for my son, and unfortunately, there was a hair baked into the cheese. I understand that mistakes happen, and I hope this is something that can be addressed with better quality control in the kitchen moving forward. I can tell the food has potential, and the menu has some great options. I’d be willing to give Tony’s another try in the future—hopefully with a more accurate and careful experience next time.

I had a very mixed experience here. On the one point, the place is very nice and a general great atmosphere. Clean, well maintained, and enjoyable for the most part. The service I received was less than positive, with my smoothie order scheduled for 15 min actually taking 25, and the person helping me acting more irritated that I was waiting for my smoothie than anything else. The prices are also high for a small smoothie and $11 for a bowl was the most I’ve ever seen. Taste was decent for a healthy option. I bought 3 smoothies and a bowl and paid $30. I won’t visit again for that kind of cost with so little return.

I was surprised at the level of service at this place. It's beautiful and has many intriguing options on the menu...

However, reality is much different. The two girls were engaged in a lively conversation yet seemed to be annoyed someone walked in possibly at an inconvenient moment during their conversation. One of the girls decides to take my order, but says nothing, just stares, the two making eye contact with each other the whole time as I asked about a few items. Was I an intruder? Or a customer?

I ordered waffles with blueberries just to be done and out. She had never asked whether I would stay or go, when the food was ready, it was tied up very tight, so I knew it was to go. Being hungry, I chose to stay. I opened the plastic box to find a very small waffle, and a few blueberries, which were completely frozen. When I say frozen, there was no exaggeration.

I've never been so surprised since having cold oatmeal at Grandma's house. I ate the lone waffle in less than a minute, but felt sorry for the blueberries which made their way to the trash can.

I literally just ran to get another breakfast at a shop with warm, delicious savory donuts for a real good price. Experiences are great...

The food here is always good. However, I am always slightly annoyed with the service. It always takes a while, which usually I am fine with, except for today. I walked in and the two teenagers working at the counter were cuddling and barely noticed me walking up to order. Then throughout me ordering the guy kept showing the girl stuff on his phone. She was very distracted and I kept having to repeat myself to make sure she got it. When I’d repeat myself she’d roll her eyes and then keep looking at the guy and his phone. If the food wasn’t good I wouldn’t keep coming. Hopefully next time their workers can be more professional and keep their phones and relationship out of the workplace.

Update: I was having a rough day and misread the situation. The guy went out of his way to find my social media, messaged me, apologized and offered to pay for a free bowl. I appreciate them being so willing to fix the situation. Fixing my review...

I usually love this place the food is fabulous and it's affordable that being said they get five stars for that this 3 * and should be less is for the non compliance in food retail businesses the wearing of n95 or cloth face mask while working right now during the covid-19 directives here in southwest Utah. I work in the food retail business and I tried to send business to every place that is struggling like we are and to have been told it it's not personable therefore we're not going to wear them is not right they didn't have any social distancing they didn't have the tables marked off they had a lot of soft furniture that does contract and can potentially carry the virus I will not go back in there for a while and it's sad because I do love their food hopefully they'll get on the compliance so that they don't get shut down because it is a really cool place it's healthy and it's better than anything in the Cedar City...
