Claire's — Local services in Cedar Hill

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Stopped in this evening to purchase earrings for my daughters. Google says this location closes at 10pm. The sign in the window says 8pm. It was 7:55pm when we entered the store. As we walked in, Heather was on the phone at the counter. She turned, looked at us, rolled her eyes and shook her head. She then hung up the phone and with a very stale attitude and smug tone in her voice asked was there anything she could help us find. That's when I realized Heather was obviously annoyed that we stopped in to shop at the last minute. I politely and very intentionally turned my daughters around to leave the store. As we exited the store, I let Heather know I did see the look/facial expression she made when we entered the store. She begin to give me every reason why Google has incorrect hours listed. I told Heather never the less that has nothing to do with her lack of customer service towards my family. My babies were excited about jewelry shopping, and Heather screwed that up for them. Maybe instead of being on the phone on personal calls, Heather should have been locking up the store if she did not want to help any other customers. I have ALL the control over where I spend my money, and it will never be at this Claire's location again. Get it...

Horrible service. My son and his friend wanted a piercing as we were picking studs, another associate came over and said "yall need to move". All while the so called manager was standing there. I corrected the associate about how she spoke to us by telling her that "I am a full grown adult, and she could have asked us to move, instead of rudely demanding that we move". The so called manager told me not to talk to her associate like that and never scolded the associate for her behavior. As a customer service Team manager, both associates were out of line and the so called manager doesn't know how to manage a store. Lastly the so called free piercing is a joke. I was willing to pay $60 for the studs to get the so called free piercing, I ended up taking the boys not even 10 miles away, they received 14kt plated studs and the stud with piercing was $10 per ear. We paid $20 total for a set(both lobes together) of piercings. Happy the were rude because it saved us money. I will contact corporate next to tell them about how rude the...

I was there today browsing with my kids. My 3 yr old dropped a makeup kit. I told her to pick it up and put it back, which she did. The associate walked behind her and picked up the kit and told me that my daughter messed the kit up. So now I have to purchase the kit. I didn’t even look at it or my daughter to see if she really messed with it. Upon leaving I carefully look a the kit and noticed that a whole section of the kit was missing and broken. So I went back to the store to explain that my kid couldn’t have destroyed it that way. The young lady immediately had an attitude and called her manager on the phone and explained the incident to her. She left out a few things but in the end I didn’t get a refund. I know my kid didn’t do it and I sure didn’t deserve to be given attitude by the young lady! I won’t be returning to Claire’s again and definitely not...
