Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Cedar Hill

I came to the Cedar Hill location for the first time in about 3 years the other night out of convenience and, unfortunately, the quality of the food hasn't improved. Specifically for the tacos which is really the only thing I eat regularly here. I go out of my way up the road to Duncanville for Jack in the Box tacos because the quality is far superior than in Cedar Hill. I usually don't take the time to write negative reviews as my time and money is simply better spent elsewhere, but having a redo just now at a Dallas location and comparing the difference in the tacos I received today and the tacos in Cedar Hill is astounding. The tacos in Cedar Hill have a tablespoon of meat in a small lump on one side of the shell, a few shreds of lettuce and no cheese. I would say 90% of the taco is shell. The tacos I receive at every other location are appropriately filled, includes cheese and you get some filling with every bite. Years ago I thought this may be a training issue and decided to just go elsewhere when there was no improvement after speaking to the manager/owner. But, I now believe that staff are specifically trained to make the tacos this way to save on ingredients. The tacos are 2 for $0.99 cents, I get it. However, all other locations manage to serve a decent taco at the same price. Needless to say, it was disappointing that there has been no improvement (worse, actually) since the last time I attempted to spend money with the location in the city I live in. I've been coming to those location for some time now. It's usually ok with no issues but does tend to have a variation on staff customer service and the food being served. It's unfortunate that you must double-check our order before leveling the drive-thru window to ensure our order is complete and condiments have been out in there. Again, for the most part, everything goes well, but it has happened more often than none where our orders aren't complete. Food is nearly well served and instead messy and unappetizing. At times when I have to work late and considering grabbing some quick tacos or anything for that matter, it's either closed before closing hours or driving thru unattended. Overall, it is an ok option when nothing else is open, like today Xmas. My respects and best wishes to the staff, I'm sure, are not easy yet, very committed, and hard-working...

Poor customer service. The girl working the drive thru refused to replace the customers drinks because there was no syrup in the drinks. She told the one guy who pulled back around to get a different drink that she could not replace them because they got combo meals she could only give them value drinks instead of what they had. I simple said that's not right and she told me she will not serve me and she was calling the cops because he Uncle is a cop. Not only did she not serve me she did not replace the couples drinks that they paid for. Not only do I have a picture of her along with her name and will be going to the Cedar Hill Police station to see what other favors she gets because her uncle is a police officer. I spend money every morning at this Jack In The Box, because my son eats two of the #30's every morning, but...
