I found my dream dress here and it was the BEST experience. I could not be happier with my dress, and the way they run things here was just so perfect. We arrived 20 minutes early, as I had an appointment at another store before this that didn’t run as long as I thought it would. They immediately took us in, despite us being ok with waiting until our original appointment time. We worked with Kirstin, an absolute gem of a person. They offered us the most amazing mimosas, and then got us all settled in and got to work. Kirstin really listened to ALL of our opinions, and I came in there with no clear Idea of what exactly I was wanting. I showed her one photo of my favorite dress from the previous dress store I had been to, and then we all told her a bunch of different styles and details. She was very considerate of my budget the entire time and incredibly casual about it, which I loved. We tried on 6 dresses before she actually picked a dress out based on what I had liked before and YALL when I tell you it was the most PERFECT dress. Everyone started crying. I felt so beautiful, and almost the second I put it on, before I even walked out, I knew it was my wedding dress. Kirstin had picked out the perfect mix of everything I liked all in one dress, I was stunned. I didn’t have to compromise any of the details or shaping I was wanting in a dress, when I thought I would have to be torn. The dress we landed on was slightly out of my budget, but Kirstin was so kind and made sure I was 1000000% comfortable with that before even showing me the dress fully. She was not pushy in the slightest, and the dress ended up being even more perfect than anything I could have imagined, so the extra money was so worth it to me. I felt so comfortable with her the entire time, she was so kind, and I felt REALLY taken care of, and so did my bridal party. We couldn’t stop talking about her after we left. I would recommend not only this amazing shop, but Kirstin a million times over. I wouldn’t have wanted to find my dress anywhere else. (Side note: They actually custom ordered my dress for the same price as if I had gotten it off the rack, with free shipping, so that when it comes in it fits like a glove and I don’t have to pay for any alterations other than adding a bustle, as my dress has quite the train! 😻 They were so considerate and saved me sooo much money on alterations, as I am tall and thin so I most likely would have ended up paying $600+ for alterations had they not done that!!)...

My appointment was with Kathryn, the store manager of Amour. She is everything a girl could ask for in a bridal consultant. After setting up a Zoom call so my future-M.I.L. could join in remotely, Kathryn gave me an overview of the dresses and let me look around with my mom and sister. She was very transparent about the pricing and it was very helpful to know which of their dresses were on clearance, which was what I had expressed interest in.

My party had chosen a few dresses of interest, and Kathryn brought some over that she thought I would like to try on based on my criteria. Due to COVID precautions, brides are shown to their sizeable dressing room with their chosen dresses hanging on hooks and step into the dresses unassisted, and then the ladies of Amour will help with the fastenings and clips. I mention this only to prepare other ladies who are dress shopping during these pandemic times, but for me, this was no problem at all. Kathryn was super patient and remained just outside the dressing room curtains the whole time if I needed help.

Some dresses I tried on weren't quite for me, and Kathryn never pushed those. She told me I didn't have to come out to show my party any dresses I didn't want to. The ones I really loved, however, I would present on a pedestal for my party, and it was so sweet and intimate. In the end, I ended up saying "yes" to the first dress I had tried on, and Kathryn put me in a veil to show me how the ensemble would look. I was thrilled to be able to buy my discontinued dress off the rack because of the great discount, and because we could go home with it that day! I was given business cards for two preferred local alteration shops.

I would recommend Amour Bridal to anyone who is in the market for a gorgeous designer wedding dress (that won't break the bank) and unparalleled customer service. My party and I were made to feel so welcome, and I will definitely be sharing photos of our wedding with Kathryn when the day comes! I have looked forward to wedding dress shopping for most of my life, and my experience at this shop was everything I had ever dreamt...

I bought my wedding gown from this shop. Not very many options first off. Second, the lady that was there seemed inconvenienced by my mom, mother in law and I. There’s no wheelchair ramps either. Anyway, the woman who helped me seemed to rush me. I did find a dress I love, but she told me that I need to loose weight to fit into the dress correctly instead of ordering my size. She KEPT SAYING I NEEDED TO LOSE WEIGHT. I’m already self conscious of my figure. First it was 2 pounds, then she kept bumping it up. “Oh if you lose 5 pounds... 6 pounds.... 7pounds...” I wish I could remember her name. She had a strong accent. But I wanted the dress no matter. She had me walk around in the dress - no problem. But my MIL is in a wheelchair and insisted I look in the mirrors opposite of the room from her and talked to my mother about what is nice about the dress instead of me. I felt like a dress up doll instead of a bride. I got my dress and it is a size too small because she told me I needed to loose weight so I could fit into it instead of ordering one in my size. Very disappointed only a 2 star because I like the dress. 2/10 would not recommend. -Rebecca (since my business address is coming up)

Edited to add since I cannot find a way to reply. The woman who took my measurements told me that she would enter the measurements the dress had to the order since it would fit if I “lost weight” because, and I quote. “You’re knocking on a 12 with the dress measurements if you slim up some” it was not about me, it was about the sale of a brand new dress that just entered the store. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and will not be recommending this place to anyone. Changed the star rating because my seamstress is not able to let the dress out enough to fit and the only way I will be able to zip it up is if I wear a corset. Absolutely ridiculous.
