ThunderCloud Subs — Restaurant in Cedar Park

here is what you need to know before coming to this location:

it's just difficult to find this location cuz it sort of tucked away it in the outside

That's I recorded a video on what it looks like coming into the parking lot which you either need to be coming eastbound on Whitestone boulevard and then taking immediate right to get into the proper stocking complex here but there's an edible eat the parts and Ruby boutique I'll cut the way over here around this thundercloud subs

that being said thunder cloud subs been around since 1975 and I personally love their tuna sandwich or what I like to do especially when they send me coupons like they did today for buy one get one free for Father's Day is to have them combine two tuna sandwiches into instead plastic container with their phenomenal mustard breast diced jalapenos right before you fresh, lettuce, onion, and special spice.

plenty of indoor dining area even though it doesn't look like it from the outside nearest outdoor dining area in the shade under a tree as well as a men's restroom in a woman's restroom separate from one another and a variety of drink and chip options including 7UP which is really hard to find these days on tap

they also have in the freezer special glass root beer that's hard to find as well as a special lemonade in a can of never seen before again some of the many unique things you'll find us under cloud subs you really won't find anywhere else

again it's not the sandwiches I can also do party trays salads and even smoothies so I've not tried their smoothies yet and you can also do phone in orders to go

parking I could see on that certain day could be tricky cuz it's shared with all these other lows locations and as for today it was easy finding parking around this location and was quick in and out

customer service staff here I would say is the big one because from thundercloud to thunder cloud it always varies but the staff here real quick knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make my lunch just the way I wanted it and made the check out process quick and easy I'll keeping up with back-to-back orders coming in

:) so glad I found that there is a thunder cloud subs in Cedar Park and I'm out here again I'm a huge fan of their tuna which just is such fresh and better quality than I will find...

I have trouble giving them a 3 star review because despite the service being fast and the place being on the clean side with an ok atmosphere, the sub was somewhere between not terrible and just barely edible. I know not to expect an "Italian" sub in this part of the country to be on par with the hero sandwiches that I grew up with on Arthur avenue and Villa avenue. But this sub actually made Jersey Mike's look very good and authentic. The ham was tolerable. The salami was similar to Genoa salami from a package at Walmart. However the capicola was my arch nemesis today. I had to spit out half of it since it was closer to a rubber band than actual meat. The bread was too soft and mushy, no bite to it whatsoever. The tomatoes were not red enough and had no flavor at all. This is one of the worst reviews that I've regrettably had to write. And I must reiterate that I had to really fudge it a little just to be able to give an overall 3 stars. The only major positive was that the sub was so cheap that I didn't feel like I threw any money away. If only my buddies at Katz's saw what I had for lunch today. Glad I didn't try...

This is not based upon my personal experience but rather on another customers that I witnessed. I walked in at 7:50PN along with another customer. He let me go first as I had both my kiddos. He and his daughter waited patiently while the young lady made our sandwiches. It took her about 10 minutes to make the sandwiches m lso at this point it was 8:00. Keep in mind that they close at 8. I understand wanting to get off on time and go home but snag I witnessed next really blew me away. She told the father and his daughter that allowed me to go first that she would not make their sandwiches because it was 8:09 and they were closed. I am not sure if she was having a bad day or what but it blows my mind that she could not take the extra few minutes to make two sandwiches. Thunderclouds name is better than that. Very disappointed at what I witnessed and still...
