Made a large purchase of Fall decor. Among my order were two LED flameless candles that I bought, not realizing they were real wax. When I brought home and opened them, they had cracks throughout and chunks started breaking off. One of the switches didn't work for the battery either.
I returned them to the store, hoping to do an easy exchange for a couple of smaller candles. The cashier called their floor manager, who said the store manager had to come over to approve the "damaged return." I waited over 10 minutes, inevitably holding up the line for this manager to arrive. Not only did I have angry customers behind me, but the manager gave me problems about taking the item back saying "normally we don't accept returns for damaged items once they leave the store, but we'll take care of you today. Just know in the future that is how we operate."
Not only am I upset that Hobby Lobby blames the customer for its own defective items that were sold damaged, but also that they make an issue with honoring the cheerful return/exchange policy listed on their receipts. I should just order my holiday decor on Amazon as a Prime member, because at least I know they will honor their...
Read moreAs a regular patron of Hobby Lobby, I have always appreciated their diverse selection of craft and home decor items. The recent rearrangements at their Whitestone Blvd location in Cedar Park have further enhanced the browsing experience by effectively showcasing their extensive range of products.
However, I have observed that cleanliness, particularly concerning the floor, could use some attention. Despite the appealing ambience and product display, the noticeable presence of dust and debris on the floor detracts from the overall shopping experience. High standards of cleanliness would undoubtedly elevate the store's appeal.
I trust that this constructive feedback will be acknowledged and addressed. Despite this, I remain appreciative of Hobby Lobby's continued commitment to providing a pleasant shopping experience and eagerly await the positive changes during my...
Read moreI’d love to say I had a great experience at Hobby lobby since they are stocked so well, however unfortunately, Esther made that experience not ideal. She went ahead and talked to me like I was born yesterday when the sales signs were in the incorrect spot (I worked retail. I understand having to put signage out. Just make sure you put it in the right spot) otherwise, you mislead customers and get to have a tongue lashing from Esther. And their mistake is to not honor the sale, even though the sign directly pointed to the sale option. So Esther, you need to work on your bedside manner, bless your heart with making it through your career with such coldness. What made me so shocked and disappointed was to see a woman wearing crosses on her earrings act less than Christian when talking to customers. Seems to go against Hobby...
