Did not eat here today but got my food togo and it might be my new favorite Indian Restaurant, is it the beat in Austin maybe not but it's pretty close for me. Upon arriving to the parking lot, the smell of Indian spices in the air is so good, it reminds me of being within 10 miles of Hershey Amusment Park, you smell the chocolate in the air, it's so good!!! Got the chicken Lolipop for starters and it did not disappoint, nicely flavored and crispy. Got the chicken Biryani with the normal spicy, and it was so good, chicken wasn't too dry and the rice nice and fluffy. The chicken Tika Masala was really nice for dipping my Non bread into. My favorite dish is the Mutton Biryani, OMG, where do they get these goats from? The Mutton was so meaty and tender, and I hardly had any bones, how is this possible!!! The mutton sauce had nice spice and the rice was nice and fluffy, got the regular spicy of course. Every thing was little bit on the pricy side but I would say it was all worth it. I highly, highly recommend trying this place out. Don't be intimidated by spice, give this place a try, and go get some ice cream for desert afterwords

This is by far the worst Indian restaurant that I ever ate. It is pathetic in every aspect be it food, cleanliness and service quality. Food: Most of the food is stale and is swimming in unhealthy oils. Be prepared to get surprised, we ordered mutton leg soup and Mallai kabab . We were totally baffled when we finally got the dish. The mutton soup was literally mutton curry with water added to it and the malai Laban was chicken with chili on it, there was no trace of mallai what so ever. Cleanliness: The overall hygiene of the restaurant is pretty poor. The spoons are covered in dust and we found pieces of left overs from previous users on our plate 🤮🤮 Service Quality: The service quality is abysmal. We ordered starter and a full course to follow it and we first got our full course and after we were done with it we got our starter which was pretty much not edible. Also, on side note the restaurant does not provide water glasses or water so if in case you want to risk it buy some soft drink.

I was almost a regular customer here. My go to stuff would be dal makhni and dhaba style aloo gobhi capsicum. Came here today to have the same thing, but I was taken aback by the quality of food they served. Dal makhni is no more a dal makhni here. Aloo gobhi capsicum is completely a different tasting dish now. Chicken tikka kebab tasted way different too. Had to wait for 40 mins to get my food. After waiting for almost half n hour I was told they are out of rotis. Then waited for some more time and the server said they are waiting for kebabs. I spoke to the manager and he said it’s the same chef at first. Then he said it’s Tuesday may be the shifts change and some other cook has made it. Be it Tuesday Wednesday or any other day, people come to places because of their consistency in taste. This clearly is not the case here now. Giving 3 stars only for the naans. Rest everything was a disappointment for me.

Hello Owner , 2 weeks back I called to Salt n Pepper restaurant and told that I have one order which I was supposed to get , as I have two duplicate orders few months back , then at that time some person named Venkat was there short guy , so I explained to him two orders were made for Boneless Family pack biryani as first order did not shown as processed , so I have made second order again this was because their online website where I have order made it is having some issues at that time , as order confirmation was not shown , so I have made second order also , when seen the transactions made successful two times in my credit card , so I have called to Salt N Pepper and explained this issue , initially he told it will take 7 business days to get the refund of the duplicate order , so I have waited for 10 days and still did not get my money back , so I have called him again and asked multiple times when I will get my money back on my card , but he told it will take more days , so he never processed , then I have waited and again called him , then he started telling so when you want to order again , pls call them by phone so that they will give it to me that Bone less Chicken biryani family pack , so truth is he never processed the refund of my money back to my card . So I again did not get chance to call them again and I forgot this one . After some months I remember this and called recently 2 weeks back to Salt N Pepper and explained , one Girl who wears Glasses to eyes , picked my call and when I have explained this whole issue of duplicate order , Initially she told that person named Venkat is no more working in this Salt N Pepper restaurant , but I told as this order should be given to me , she went inside and checked again , so she confirmed that I will have this duplicate order and they can prepare the order Bone Less Chicken Biryani family pack , so I told her I will come in 30 minutes to pick this order at the restaurant , I went after 30 minutes to the restaurant , then I told my name , then she told please wait and told to chef about this order, so she did not even took my order before when I called and she told it will be ready in 30 minutes and made me wait for 15 minuets while they are preparing it then , so when I took the order and was going back and when I weight it in my hand , I felt like it was little light ,and surprised whether they kept all boxes properly , so all boxes are there but for some I felt like the weight of the package is little light that usually I get package when I order by Uber Eats , so when I came back home and opened Biryani Family Pack and we are shocked to see this that quantity was not enough , it was 30% less than it was usually used to be when I order it previously , my wife also shocked this incident of biryani is only 70% filled and box is light weight , so I have called back to restaurant and this time she did not picked the call , another make person picked the call , and explained this issue and he told she is here only please talk to me on this issue , when I have explained this to her , Initially she did not agreed and started arguing with me saying its nothing like that , but I have explained to her everything , as she wantedly kept less biryani purposefully . Owners of Salt N pepper , when we are paying 35$ full price for Bone Less Chicken Biryani Family Pack ,then why we are getting only 70% of the box , because of this Female person who packed the box wantedly doing this to us purposefully. So do you agree to take 25$ for the Fully packed Bone Less Chicken Biryani for the full price of 35$ for this order , when you do not accept then why she has wantedly packed the Family pack Biryani chicken Biryani so less quantity on 70% of box filling it . Please talk to all your people who are working in your restaurant to fill the box fully with out anay gapes especially that Female person who did to us last time . Show this message , please warn her and educate her , train her for not doing this Mistake...

This was an accidental find. Having driven past this restaurant numerous times in the past few months, we never realized this was an Indian restaurant. We discovered this place while searching for Indo-Chinese food in Cedar Park area. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. We ordered Hot and Sour soup, Cut mirchi, Badam Milk, and Ved Hakka noodles for dine in, and Boneless Mutton (Lamb) biriyani and Double ka Mitha (dessert) for take out. Hot and Sour Soup: Don't expect this to be the popular Indo-Chinese Soup. Had I rated this soup based on strictly that, I'd have had a bad experience. Having said that, the soup was actually delicious. Perhaps by another name, this could be a popular item on the menu. Cut mirchi: This reminded us of Cut mirchi, a popular street food in parts of India. We loved that the Cut mirchi was garnished with onions and chat masala, and the sweet and spicy dip that was served with it was great. Badam milk: This is not the Badam "Drink" as you might remember from India, which has a thick - almost milk shake like - texture. We liked it. It was sweet and had just the right amount of nut (almonds) mix. Veg Hakka Noodles: I was slightly disappointed with the Hakka Noodles. I found them to be slightly softer than how I prefer them. But, I've been more disappointed with Hakka Noodles in other restaurants with the exception of Aling's in Sugar Land, TX. Ignoring that bit, they did taste good. Mutton Biriyani: This was a surprise hit. The meat was just the right amount of tender, fully marinated, and flavourful. The rice were cooked just right. The quantity of the take out was good enough for two. My mom really loved it. Double ka Mitha: This was another unexpected surprise. Looking at it, we were not sure whether we'd like it. But it turned out to be...

First experience here was about a month ago. Good was decent. I had Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Kababs. The kababs were a bit dry but had great flavor and the Masala was pretty good.

Second experience we went in last night and they made us use their slow web site for menu which was acceptable. But then also forced us to also order from the web site and pay from the website. Charging a fee for me to order my food while sitting at your table to order from you and then forcing phone number and email before you can order was rediculous. We left and went to another Indian restaurant just down the road that was just as good if not better and had better service and more menu options.

Reply to Owner: Health Safety? You have a guy walking around talking to people so why can't he take orders? The web page had no option to pay later it only allowed me to pay when placing the order. Customer service isn't just speed of taking an order. If I wanted to place my own order I would have ordered door dash and just ate at home. It's your business so you do what you want. Poor customer service shows by the very few people in your resturant. I will say thanks for...
