LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Cedar Park

Fantastic it's great every time but tonight we went to celebrate 2 birthdays my sisters and her daughter's. It was packed out and we had 8 people in our party. Wee were told it would be about 30 mins before we could get a table which was more then ok since we had a few of us go hang out at the bar and enjoy a drink. The bartender was great the only problem was another guest. There was two in our party who decided to sit there and have a drink will there were three seats available but when one of our guys started to pull the chair out the lady grabbed it and said she was saving it. In most cases we would have understood but in this case we were very confused as the other open chair was right next to her on the other side. Why should it matter what side your guest sit at if they were not even there yet. Well anyways I chose to stand I didn't want to take up a seat that the bartender could be making money on so anyways my husband and nephew took there seats one on each side of this lady leaving the saved seat open. My husband and my nephew continue to have there conversation by leaning forward on the bar, after about 5-7 mins the lady looked at my husband and said change seats with me so you can have you da* conversation and not talk over me you disrespectful a*. My nephew then replied thank you she said whatever then he replied good luck with your bumblebee date lady and just so you know your the very rude disrespectful one you could have let us sit together to start with. Anyways I thought oh no this is going to be bad now as she messed up the good mood we were in, but we were quickly put back in the good mood as we had the best server in the restaurant tonight, he was very attractive he made jokes with us he never let our glasses get empty and for the ones drinking he made sure to get the bar drinks put in before they were half empty so the would not run out while the drink was being màde. when it come to the 2 kids (4) & (14) he was freaking amazing he catered to them very well with high fives and letting them talk his ear off. He put up with our party on his own like a champ. At the end he brought out 2 icecream Sundays in margarita glasses for the kiddos then he brought out 2 chocolate cakes with icecream on top an the plates he wrote happy birthday with raspberry syrup and put a candle in the to blow out. Now remind you servers at Darden companies such as longhorns are now longer allowed to get a group together and sing Happy birthday ( I guess someone in the Darden companies are bitter and don't enjoy life anymore to not allow them to sing Happy birthday for Christ sakes) anyways my husband was being silly and started singing a really silly version of happy birthday he then points at our Waiter and he joined in with my husband and made it even more silly. He made jokes and cut up with us from beginning to end of our time there. He was by far fanaminal, great, patient, kind, caring and attentive. $2.13 a hour for this server or any other server is just disgusting but he definitely deserves a raise and maybe even could replace the manager and do a great job at that because that's the kind of person they need to set the tone for there employees. He did not skip a beat when I told him that I was also a Darden employee his response was " then I will go right now and give you your discount after verification I was infact a employee. Which is what you are supposed to do verify employment before giving the discount. Our check was up there trust me with 4 appitizers and everyone but the 4 year old had stake and everyone had at least one bar drink with the exception of the kids. Even the kitchen staff done a great job on cooking the food and getting it delivered to our table nice and hot. We drive by two other longhorns to get to this one but the 30 min drive without traffic a hour with traffic is well worth it. 6/20/24 Trevor was our server today.🩵 He’s also a bartender. He’s always awesome!👏🏻 I had a great lunch date with my hubby. Alfredo, the GM, is phenomenal! Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants is SOOOOO blessed to have him!!! He is always welcoming, genuine, kind, gracious, and assures your dining experience is perfect.😍 He’s also a VERY hard worker and always helps out with anything and everything; sweeping the floor, expediting the food, refilling drinks, etc. He is a RARE gem, ALWAYS leading by example!!!!💎🥰 6/8/24 Jose was our dinner server (4pm) and he was absolutely AWESOME!!! He checked on us numerous times throughout our meal. When we asked for containers to take home our leftovers, he brought us fresh bread (bagged up) WITH a container of butter, without us even asking!👏🏻🩵 Jose ROCKS! 🕺

My husband and I went there last night for dinner and it was absolutely perfect! I asked if they could prepare my ribeye with a peppercorn crust and they graciously obliged! And, it was phenomenal; juicy, incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked!!! My husband got the T Bone and it was delicious and perfectly prepared as well. Our server, Maya, was awesome! She was genuinely sweet, friendly, and very attentive. Thank you for our wonderful meals and fantastic service!!! The meals are such a great value, too! Update: 9/17/22 Sylvia (looks like Michelle Pfeiffer!) was our server. She’s sweet, friendly, bubbly, and an overall great server! I had a Blue Cheese burger + baked potato. Manager, Keith, recommended I have a side dish of Blue cheese dressing to drizzle on the burger… WOW! FABULOUS!!! UPDATE: 10/27/22 3:30 pm TREVOR (bartender & server) was THE BEST server we’ve ever had at Longhorn Steakhouse (LSH). We’ve been regular customers (for 20 yrs) at LSH restaurants in Texas, FL, and TN. Trevor came by our table at least 6 times to check on us! The food was DELICIOUS, as always, and PERFECTLY cooked! YUMMMMMM 1/3/22 Kylie was our server at lunch today. She was awesome… brought a soda refill without me asking, asked us if we were on any time constraints, and checked back often. She’s a cutie pie and a great server! 1/19/23 We had lunch again today. We can’t get enough of their delicious steakburgers.🤤🤣 Elizabeth was our server. Today's dining experience did not meet our expectations. Our server, Gabriella, provided deficient service and exhibited a negative demeanor. When asked about the cheese used in the Mac and cheese, she briefly responded with attitude that it was pre-made and she didn't know. Geez, sorry for asking questions (Witch). Her behavior made us feel very uncomfortable, and we regretted ordering from her. We suggest that if you are seated in her section, be prepared for a less-than-ideal service. If providing quality service is not a priority, it would be better to be absent or resign (Gabriella, i think a factory job away from customers would suit you best) . Reminder.... we didn't come to see you, we came to enjoy a lovely lunch that left an awful taste in my mouth. Even my two little girls would thank her for bringing their waters, and she was dead silent with no commen courtesy in return. I had to explain to my 6 year old daughter that not everyone replys "you're welcome" after thanking them. 😵‍💫 talk about manners! She did not offer refills or check on the food quality once it was delivered. I also ordered the Flo's felit, and she only gave me one side. I tried to get a strawberry salad, and she said it was $6 extra. As i am looking at the online menu, the difference should have only been $2.99. She doesn't even know her own menu. I got shorted from one side. So i paid 23.29 with only one side. I also requested a to-go box and was left waiting for an extended period, which prompted me to seek assistance from the bar, and I ended up obtaining the box from a kind host (which he should have been the server).
