The Alley in Cedar Park is by far the best boba shop ever! Every visit feels like a treat thanks to their amazing staff, theyâre always so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming đ€ I really appreciate how helpful they are whenever I have questions about ingredients, toppings, or drink customizations. Their customer service makes the whole experience even better.
I stop by every few weeks for my boba fix, and recently I noticed theyâve started baking their own sweet treats for the cafĂ©. Iâve tried their strawberry mousse and brownies, and both were absolutely delicious, rich in flavor but not overly sweet. You can tell they focus on quality, not just sugar, and the balance is perfect. If you havenât tried their new bakery items yet, I definitely recommend them. đ
Another big thing I love about this location is how clean and well-maintained it always is. The shop smells great, the counters and tables are spotless, and even during their busiest hours (I usually come after work around 4â5pm or on weekends), the employees manage to keep everything tidy while working efficiently and still greeting every customer with a smile.
On a few occasions, Iâve been a little too adventurous with my drink choices or sugar levels, totally my fault for being picky and the staff have been so kind about it. Theyâve offered to adjust or even remake my drink to make sure I leave happy, which shows how much they care about their customers satisfaction.
Overall, The Alley in Cedar Park checks all the boxes. Amazing drinks, tasty desserts, clean and cozy environment, and top-tier customer service. Whether youâre a boba regular or trying it for the first time, this is the perfect spot to relax, sip something delicious, and enjoy a...
Read moreAs I walked into the store, I fell for their modern and minimalist decor and love the fact that they also have a kiosk to take orders!
We have been here a few times and the drinks were consistent which is a plus. Staff are okay as we always put our order through the kiosk so didnât really have to interact with them much. We tried their milktea with pearls, Royal No. 9 milk tea in a can, taro brown sugar deerioca, Ube taro brown sugar deerioca so far and they were all delicious. The balance between the strength of tea and milk is perfect and their pearls have the right amount of chew yet are still soft. The Ube taro brown sugar deerioca is my favorite as it tastes like a Thai dessert in a cup (so you know itâs sweet), instead of using a spoon to eat, you just straight-up suck it from the strawâŠhow convenient đđđ»
We had a chance to try their croffles and boy⊠Iâm addicted! I went back to get more the following weekendđ By the way, you have to eat it right away for it to be good (crispy exterior and soft with some pull of a croissant texture inside) otherwise if the cream on top melts, the croffle itself gets soggy. The only complaint I have was, they have 3 different flavors but all of them taste the same which is cream brĂ»lĂ©e! Iâm not sure it was a one time-off thing or not since the advertising photos of each flavor shows the color of the cream match each flavor. But the cream on all three flavors of my croffles looked the same with just some sprinkles of chocolate and matcha on them. Just a sprinkle of matcha on top of the cream doesnât make it matcha flavor or matcha forward at all, and the same goes for the chocolate flavor.
All in all, Iâm a return customer and happy with their...
Read moreSmelly Secret The Alley is one of the most famous bobba tea shops chains, and for good reason. They provide a nice assortment of drinks not found in all bobba shops like the purple rice based drinks and make use of home made ingredients. I especially liked the natural fruit lychee I had in Houston which made me want to visit as soon as they opened in Austin. I didn't see the natural fruit lychee on the menu but found the purple rice based tea a nice departure from the typical fare of other bobba shops. They have board games, typically have some sort of fun anime crossover theme, and relatively comfortable seating. Something missing from most bobba shops. All that said they have a dreadful secret. As soon as you walk through the doors you're met with the unpleasant aroma of a dirty bathroom. Like when you need to go really bad but turn around and leave when you meet the wall of stench. I thought to myself, is this an off day? I looked around and others didn't seem to notice it or just were used to the smell. I went ahead and made my order and promptly left. I thought to myself, maybe it's an off day? I've now been on 3 different occasions with varying levels of odor. I'm a bit amazed other patrons are not affected. It appears they are making efforts to address the problem but ultimately it's not enough to enjoy the environment they've otherwise created. A real shame. It destroys the experience for me as it's hard to get that smell out of my head and impacts my...
