Dan was a pleasure to work with. His selection of knives was incredible! His knowledge on each and every knife was very helpful in setting me up. I had to buy two of his own hand made knives. The manual folder I settled on was one of the first he showed me. The ball bering is so smooth. It is addictive just opening and closing it. The precision details in the machining is spot on.

Unbelievable the selection. When Dan says the biggest selection of custom knives in one location. He is not kidding. Oh and his store carries more than just knives. Gourmet chocolates and fudge. Tons of unique gifts for men and women too. Mostly men though. I will definitely be coming back this summer and buy me one them real expensive knives. Just don’t tell my wife.

I have returned several times since my original review. Dan has been a great person to work with. He adds a lot to the buying experience. His passion for knives is infectious. The selection of custom knives keeps getting better. There may be stores with more knives. Yet I challenge you to find a store with a greater variety of custom knife makers to choose from. Many of the knives he carries, you would have to wait months to order directly from the knife makers. To be able to walk in his shop and buy one of over a dozen Semper Sharp knives is incredible. The Knife maker only drops a few knives every few weeks. Most sell with in minutes. My favorite Knife Maker Luke Sparrow, has retired. All his knives are sold out. Be very aware of the amount of markup the products in this store have on prices. I was sold a pocket knife for 150 dollars over what this same knife sells for online at various retailors. There is an MSRP on it but no retailers sell any of thier knives for MSRP. A small amount of markup makes sense because I understand businesses have to make money but a 100 percent markeup on the price of a product that other businesses sell it for is just obscene. So buyer beware at this retailer. When I called to ask about a refund after discovering how much I was overcharged the policy which I'm. It sure is even legal is " exchange only no refund"

They did refund me the difference between the prices of other retailers and what I originally paid for it. I do appreciate that however this only happened after being rather vocal about how unhappy I was on scoial media platforms. When I first called them, they didnt even offer the difference when I explained to them I saw the same knife being sold for 165. All they offered was store credit and I was not going to accept 300 dollars in store credit in exchange for being grossly overcharaged in the first place.

You need to give people the opportunity to get a refund when they are not happy. I accepted the money back but I was so put off by this whole thing and really didnt want to give them my business at all.

The only positive was that they did spens time explaining all the various knives etc but this did not justify the amount of markup this...

I’m not local to this store but Daniel took extremely good care of me. Daniel was able to send me an invoice for the price of the pocket knife and shipped it out the very next day priority and insured. He included a couple of freebies (knife maintenance gear) which was extremely appreciated!

The knife arrived in enough packaging that I’m confident it would have floated in the ocean if king Neptune decided he wanted my knife! Deal in confidence knowing that you’re going to be supporting a really great guy who will go the extra mile to make things perfect for your needs!
