My son’s laptop stopped working all of a sudden, so I took it to a PC repair shop down in the Springs. They just told me it was the mother board and it wasn’t worth fixing and to just buy a new one from them. Well, this really irked me, so I took it to Laptop Repair Denver for a second opinion and I’m sooooo glad I did! They were so awesome. Skylar told me exactly what the problem was AND that I still had time on the manufacturer’s warranty. Sent it off to the manufacturer and expecting it back soon. These people are very friendly, professional and honest. I will be taking our laptops here if we have any issues in the future and recommending them to others. Edit: We have since had Skylar work on another one of our laptops and she did a great job fixing the issue! Also, our son wanted a gaming desktop and we asked if she could build one for him. She said yes and, OMG, it came out great! Our son is so happy with it because he can now play games that he couldn't before on his laptop. It's not just a desktop build...it's a work of art!!! Thanks again, Skylar!

Mike and Skyler have been the BEST with repairing my Surface (which literally NO ONE ELSE WOULD EVEN TOUCH). They worked diligently until they found the issue and were able to fix an almost brand new laptop and save my data. The charger port on a fluke went out, parts so hard to find, but they did it! Love them! All future repairs on Apples, Microsoft, cell phones, etc. Will be coming here. I'm moving to Illinois soon and will even ship here because I trust them that much! Bring your electronics here people... trust me!!

I was very happy with their service. When I asked to prioritize my labtop because i had a project due the following week, they were immediately able to fix my labtop and get it back to me. They are very professional and knowledgeable.

I brought my 9-year old HP laptop to this place on Friday May 28, 2021 to have the screen replaced. I was told that diagnostics usually take 1-3 business days. I received a text on Tuesday 6/1 indicating the only components that failed diagnostics are the screen and the hard drive and they "suspect" the reason for the hard drive failing was due to a drop. I was told the hard drive still operates, but it is exceptionally slow (keep in mind this is a 9 YEAR OLD LAPTOP!!! I KNOW THE HD IS SLOW!!!). They offered to replace the mechanical HD with a solid state HD and perform an OS reload. Then they offered to help me install any specific programs and settings in house for the low low price of $110 an hour (again, keep in mind this is a 9-year old laptop!). I was given quotes to replace the HD and perform an OS reload for anywhere from $287 to $632 and parts would take 5-7 business days. Keeping in mind this is a 9-YEAR OLD LAPTOP why would ANYONE pay these kinds of prices to refurbish it? Wouldn't it be better to spend that kind of money on a BRAND NEW LAPTOP?!?!? After receiving their kind offer (HA!) I decided to just pick up the laptop and take my chances replacing the screen myself. I stopped in to pick it up the next day and was told it would take some time to reassemble it. Since I was going to order the replacement screen myself I told them to just give it back to me and to not reassemble it. I waited a few minutes and one of their employees gave me the laptop with the old screen and a bag of tiny screws... I took my laptop home and ordered a replacement screen from Amazon for $54! Once the new screen arrived I reinstalled it but noticed I had many extra screws left over. After replacing the screen I powered it up. The screen worked fine, however it would not boot up. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. On Wednesday June 9th I took my laptop back to Laptop Repair Denver and explained that the problem was. They offered to run diagnostics on it and let me know. I received a text from Corey later that afternoon that read: "I figured out the issue causing your laptop not to boot. Can you swing by before 3:30 pm and I will sit down with you and show you why it wasn't booting" I stopped by and Corey proceeded to turn the laptop over and removed the cover over the hard drive. The hard drive wasn't even secured and the cable from the HD to the mother board was missing...NO WONDER IT WOULDN'T BOOT UP!!! AND I FIGURED OUT WHERE THE EXTRA SCREWS WENT!!! Corey asked me if I still had the extra screws they gave me and I told him they were at home but I could get them and bring them back in about 30 minutes. Then he asked if I had the cable for the HD and was ADAMANT that it was returned to me when I picked up the laptop. I told Corey that I was never given a cable (only a bag of screws) and furthermore I had NEVER removed the cover for the HD...EVER! At that point Corey said he could check the security camera footage to prove they gave me the cable (which they could not find...) After a few minutes of arguing back and forth about the cable that I was never given and basically being accused of lying, the owner Mike overheard the conversation and offered to order a replacement cable and reassemble the device. Later that day I received a text from Mike to let me know the replacement cable had been ordered and they should have it by the following Monday (6/14/21). They received the replacement cable on 6/14 but it was the wrong one. They offered me a loaner laptop until they could get the correct cable (which I declined). I was then told it would take a while to get one because they had to get it from the UK but they would see if they had a cable that would work. After all of the BS for the last 2 weeks they emailed to let me know their "repair" caused a short circuit and the mother board was fried...REALLY?!? I was given a choice of 2 refurbished laptops to replace mine... DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE - VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY...

I went into this store twice in the last week. I just purchase a new computer about a month ago, and I dropped it shattering the screen. I dealt with Brian, the store manager both of my visits to the store. He was so rude I was appalled. When I was there on Saturday he said he'd have to do a diagnostic, and then he'd let me know costs. I was not ready to leave the computer yet, so I went on my way to look into other options. First, every other store I went to the people were nice....they all looked up the info and got me pricing while I waited. Then today, I went back to the store to see if he could not beat the other prices I was quoted, but do it faster. That was my question to him. I then told him, "I have been to several places, and no one charged me a diagnostic, and they were all able to look it up right away. If you can do that, and can get the part faster I'll leave the computer with you." He then said "well, we have to charge the diagnostic fee..." I said, "well I don't want to pay $50 when 5 other places quoted me on the spot." He then said, "great! it's only $45." He said it with such a smirk, and when I was telling him the prices HP quoted he was sarcastically saying, "good", "great", "wonderful." It was like was amused at the problem I was having......I am business owner myself, and I could not believe the treatment I received. Brian, was the rudest person that I have encountered in a few years....I was prepared to pay their company more money than I was quoted elsewhere, but he would not even listen to my problem, and by the time I left the store, if he offered to pay me to do the repair, I would not have left my computer in their hands. If you need anything technology related, RUN from these people as...

TL;DR extremely expensive, cheaper to replace the entire thing than bring it here. This is the only place that will charge you $75 just to look at your computer.

I decided to take my laptops to this local outfit and I think they miss the mark by quite a bit.

Let's start with their work. Their labor is quite expensive. The parts they source are also expensive. They refuse to give any type of estimate via email. They also pay people for reviews.

First they aren't competitive with uBreakiFix. They charge a $75 diagnostic fee to tell me what I already knew about a laptop. They refuse to give any type of quote until you pay the $75 fee per device and the fee is not transferable if you decide to not repair the device. So off the bat they collect $75 from you per device.

The price for parts that are not direct from the manufacturer are 2x higher than what I found elsewhere. However if you bring in parts they won't warranty them but they don't source their parts from oem manufacturer.

Price to fix a razer laptop keyboard was over $900.

Price to replace a laptop screen was over $600. They told me they could get me a screen for $385 I found one for $280.

Sadly I think Laptop Repair Denver has absurd prices, the reality is you're better off spending the cash on a new computer. Their diagnosis fees aren't competitive as well. There are tons of reviews talking about how this place is affordable but I'm having a hard time...
