Went into the store 6/11/21 while waiting my turn I picked out a new Samsung phone to upgrade!!! When it was my turn I told Scott my choice of phone. He then informed me that the Moto was much better and it was on promotion price.... Ok so I unfortunately took his advice and bought it. Then he tried to sale me a bundle and I decided to buy the case to protect the phone. The case was 24.99 + the cost of the phone... When he told me the price I questioned the addition. He informed me the there was a 25.00 activation fee, but on the receipt it say upgrade fee. .. I then returned I believe it was 6/15/21 I hated the phone.... The battery life was on 100% when I took it out charge at 9:30 am then at 1pm it was on 26%.... The guy at the store when I took it back said it was because I had my back light on to bright.... Its the same setting my 5 year old phone is on and I still get 48 hours of battery life.... Plus the fact I just didn't like the phone..... I brought the case back also, I didn't have the box because after Scott put my phone in the case he through away the box but it was on my receipt!!!! I pick out the phone that I wanted in the 1st place but as he was doing the refund he inform me that he couldn't take but the case.... Wait what???? He said all accessories on non refundable!!!! I said well why wasn't I told that when I bought it? I would have waited to see if I liked the phone 1st??? The sales guy said to me "You could have asked" If its final sales it should be on THE WALL WITH THE accessories!!!! He then text the manager and the manager said the most the could do was give me 10. off another case.... I say I'm good I'll just go to the mall for one. Now we move onto the phone, I ask if the 25.00 activation fee will go towards the new one. NO OF COURSE NOT. He said sorry you have to pay another fee...... So your telling me YOUR STORE JUST RIPPED ME OFF FOR $52.98? He said that's the way it is..... I then give him my old phone and said turn it back on and give me the owners name and number. I was told his name is Bruce and he gave me a business card with all the stores Bruce owns and the numbers for the store but not for Bruce.... So now next week I will be calling Cricket to speak to them about the people representing their brand name along...
Read moreI can't say enough about Brandy at the Monaca, Pa store. She truly is an angel. I had my phone for many years but I was told it would become obsolete soon. I panicked I don't use this phone like normal people. I use it for a few things and don't give it to very many people. Just kinda a backup. I was terrified about making a change as I am really not technologically smart about transferring things and how to do it. When I set up the appt and went it I was astounded. Brandy was kind, considerate and very patient. I had many questions and she answered them all. I have had others condasending in tone. Look I'm old and I needed someone to guide me. Brandy went above and beyond her calling as a representative for Cricket. THESE ARE THE KIND OF EMPLOYEES NEEDED IN THIS WORLD TODAY. Brandy is an asset to your company and to your store in Monaca. Brandy is a keeper and I would not hestitate to recommend anyone to your store and Brandy. SHE IS THE BEST and is extremly knowledgable on the phones she sells which is rare. Sales are important but customer service is number 1 to me. Been there, done that I was a customer service representative for 23 years, I know.Please acknowledge her for who she is and what she does.
