Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Center Township

I know everyone's experiences with everything are different. Some great some bad. I wish it wasn't but mine was bad. I drove from Charleston west Virginia to Pittsburg for a business photography trip and I arrived and was just so so so so hungry. I saw this place and looked it up and it looked so amazing, I was so excited. The woman who seated me was so kind, and the waiter was kind as well. I ordered the pepper jack Mac balls and a roast beef sandwich with pepper jack, swiss, jalapenos, and mayo. The pepper jack Mac balls were really good. But then the main course, the sandwich was the number one worst sandwich Ive ever had. I didn't want to make anyone feel bad or hurt anyone's feelings so I quickly swallowed and consumed the entire sandwich in just a few minutes just to get rid of it. The roast beef wasnt even warm, the cheese barely melted, the meat was fatty and hard to bite off, the sandwich was falling apart, jalapenos ice cold, no mayo, the bread soggy and wet for some reason, fingers going through it, no flavor or seasoning. It was just so bad. When I'm home, I like to put mayo on bread, then stick the jalapenos to the mayo so they are secured, then get 5-6 slices of roast beef on a pan seasoned and searing, when they are nice and hot, I like to take a few slices of pepper jack and swiss and fold them in half to create more cheese slices and then layer the sandwich with meat, cheese, meat, cheese, meat, cheese, meat, cheese, meat, then close it between the creamy mayo and secured jalapenos, and then throw some butter on the pan with all the flavor and then cook the sandwich like it's a grilled cheese. And that is the #1 best roast beef sandwich...

2/16/23 - update. After taking some time away due to bad service. I attempted to order using app and online ordering, but it was down for a week. Well today, I ordered on app for pickup a few hours later. As I was driving I received a text that my order was cancelled due to payment card being expired. I do not look at my text when I drive, so when I arrived and tried to check in, I saw my order was cancelled and why. Sure my card expired that was saved as a payment option, but I should have been informed at that time not as I'm driving to pick up my order. Anyway the young women working the pickup door did a great job getting reordered. She was friendly, competent and understanding.

12/16/2023 - terrible experience arrived at about 4:05 today (12/16/2023) and no hostess approached us, but there were three employees gathered and laughing at the delivery pc (side door). We waited a few minutes and I approached them, two left and I asked to one that remained if there was a hostess and the women said yes, it was her but she was too busy. As I walked back towards the hostess stand another woman approached the four of us and yelled "we just got here and are figuring out what to do and didn't want to be all up in your face, OK"

I CHOSE TO LEAVE RATHER THAN ENGANGE AND MAKE THE SITUATION WORSE. We will not be back.

I went here at 4:50 on a Sunday. We had a party of 6 adults and 3 children. The server got our drink order about 10 minutes after sitting down. It took another 10 minutes to get our food order. When the food came out, it was staggered: 2 sandwiches delivered. Then a personal pizza. Then 1 order of chicken. My husband had to ask where our son's chicken tenders were. She immediately brought them, but my nephew didn't get his boneless chicken wings. It just doesn't make sense. It took more than 10 minutes for our party to get all of our food. When a waitress dropped off one random dish, I asked to speak to a manager. She kind of snottily replied, "I'll see if I can find one." We never got to speak to a manager, but we could see from our table that food was piling up at the window and then being randomly delivered to tables. I understand that some things cook faster than others, but that's why I don't run a restaurant. Restaurants are supposed to deliver a table's order all at once, not within 10 minutes.

I have always enjoyed my experience at this Primantis Bros, but today was unacceptable. I don't even really like the sandwiches; I just go for my family. No more.

And then my husband realized that we were overcharged for the wings. When we got home, he called them, and they said they'd take the wings off all together. So I upped my 1 star...
