I never leave negative reviews. But I was pretty unhappy. It says online they're open I go to the store they're closed. No problem. The Sign on the door says make an appointment online. I had a pretty good idea that they probably wouldn't be able to fix my phone right that moment anyway . And thankfully I'd already ordered another phone. But I want this one fixed as a backup. It's under warranty. So make an appointment. I show up for my appointment The girl looks at my phone and says we're not going to be able to fix this today. We have other phones waiting to be fixed. She's saysyou need to go home and file a warranty claim and then book an appointment tomorrow and we'll fix it. Wait a minute I have to an appointment for today. If I bring it in tomorrow are you going to fix it? So I was like can't I just leave it? No we can't be responsible for your phone. Really? cuz I'm thinking that when I leave it here during the daytime you're responsible for it? Anyway I'm not driving all the way home and driving clear back up there to leave my phone. I have to drive a half an hour to get there. And I realize this is not the girl's fault but that unbelievably rude way that she explained it to me made it really hard to not be mad. There's nobody in the store. I'm sure you got plenty of things to fix. It takes two seconds to file warranty claim with Google. I could have done it right that minute and handed her the phone. It says they can repair things and ship it to you online.I come home literally 2 minutes to file the claim . But it was the least helpful experience I've had ever. Anyway don't think that having an appointment actually means that they're going to take care of your phone during that appointment time. Because if someone else was there...
Read moreHonestly, as sad as it is to say, I would probably not go to this location again for a computer repair. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because all of the staff at the store were friendly and courteous. However, personality alone can't run a functional business.
I dropped my laptop off on 7/29. Yes, 7/29/24. I just now received it back today on 8/26/24. That's almost a month. Now I do understand that the laptop had to be shipped to another facility in Florida to have it looked at (which wasn't made transparent at the beginning when I told the rep I was working with what the problem was). It still shouldn't have taken a month.
I was told when I initially dropped my laptop off on 7/29/24 that the $50+ tax deposit I put down would be returned to me if for some reason the problem couldn't be fixed. I never saw that $50 again. That alone put a bad taste in my mouth.
My laptop was marked unrepairable after them having it for nearly a month. I understand not everything can be fixed, however, I feel like the whole situation was handled quite poorly as far as them being transparent with the possible timeframe and process.
So now I am out $50 bucks that I could have used to help towards purchasing a new laptop, (not much, but everything counts these days.)
This might be a great shop to go to for phone repair, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for laptop/desktop PC repair, especially since it doesn't seem like they do any of the repairs in-house and the computer has to be shipped to another facility.
Overall, aside from the reps at the store who were at least friendly to me, this whole experience has not...
Read moreI cannot speak to this company as a whole, only my experience with a specific representative. After calling ahead to ensure the company could fix the issue, and that they honored the preferred care through google as advertised, I arrived all to have an employee (not the same one spoken with on the phone) express annoyance at who was going to pay for the repairs. Then interrupt me at every turn after asking me what happened when the device stopped working. Explain to me all the reasons he couldn't fix it (which is fine, I realize some things are beyond their control to fix, the issue wasn't about not fixing it so much as the way I was spoken to). Every question asked, I never got a chance to answer. When I called my husband to let him know they weren't able to fix my phone, my husband called back to get more information so he could relay it to Google accordingly for them to replace the phone rather than send us for repairs. The gentleman steamrolled my husband just as much, and when my husband continued to try and get him to stop so that he could ask clarifying questions and get the proper information, the representative hung up on him. I have never met anyone who wants a customer's business less. He refused to escalate to his manager. We called the parent company, and I have yet to hear anything back regarding the issue. All in all, I'd take having to pay for a new phone before giving my business to anyone who would like to treat me this way, or a company who continues to employ people who are patronizing, rude and...
