Walked n store a few days ago. There was 3 employee s at counter. Two were looking at something they found to be funny on one of their cell phones and looked up but quickly went back to what they were laughing about. the other asked if he could help and I went to him. He was new and needed assistance from one of the other two who acted miffed because he disturbed them. The days or so before I walked in and was waiting patiently in line while the man at the counter waited on a customer. The other employee was with a customer out n the store. The manager came up to the register and said he was clocking out and going home. There was at that time 4 people waiting in line, me being one of them. About 5 minutes later I left because I was tired of waiting. When I walked outside there was the store manager texting on his cell sitting n parking lot. This store has changed managers and employee s several times and this is by far the worst service yet. I went to AutoZone where they great you by name if they know you every single time you walk n. Oriellys employee s won't give you the time of day. AutoZone offers unmatched customer serve compared to Oriellys. I've been a commercial customer of oriellys for...
Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the service I received at O’Reilly Auto Parts today. I attempted to return a light harness during my lunch break — the product is only 5 days old, I had my receipt, and the item was in perfect condition. The only thing missing was the box.
The associate at the counter flat-out refused to process the return because the original packaging was missing, despite me having all other proof of purchase. When I asked for further help, he called the store manager. Instead of offering a solution, the manager told me I would have to drive back to the original store in another town where I purchased the item to even consider a return.
This is completely unacceptable. I took time out of my busy day and was treated with inflexibility, a lack of common sense, and absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction. I expected better from a national chain like O’Reilly’s. This experience has left a terrible impression, and I’ll be seriously reconsidering whether I shop here...
Read moreI recently bought brake pads which included hardware, and a brake caliper. I was first told I needed the bracket to get the core charge. I brought the bracket and different counter guy told me it wasn't necessary in the first place. Then the pads I bought which was supposed to included hardware, was missing hardware. Then I had to make another trip back to the part store to try and get hardware. The straw that broke the camel's back was a counter guy named Preston, who persistently ignored me to help another customer who was already being helped by another counter guy, or to stock something on the shelf. All I wanted was the hardware for the brakes I paid for and I got ignored. I wasted a lot of time doing business here and do not intend on wasting anymore of my time here, ever. Please learn to manage your associates better in the future to prevent wasting anyone else's...
