Takashi Hibachi & Sushi — Restaurant in Centerton

Update 2: I ordered my usual here several times it's only gotten better. I can't recommend this place more! Please try it if you are anywhere local. This is the best Asian restaurant in the area! I look forward to my order all day long! Update 1: So I've eaten here a dozen times since my last review and I can't think of a better place to get some good Asian food. I'll try some of the new local places, but this is consistent and delicious. I love a lot of their dishes, but the side of stir fried veggies is my favorite thing about Takashi! Pick that for a side if you go there. Skip the zucchini, if your like me lol.

The food is beyond delicious! The price feels a little high, but once you try it you can see how it reflects the quality. I fully endorse this place and and recommend trying it. I don't like sushi, so I don't know that is, but the hibachi is amazing and it is incredible! I recommend the stir fry vegetables with any dish. The noodles are amazing, the protein choices are fantastic. If you are local, this is the best Asian place...

My family has eaten here 5 or 6 times now. They have amazing food, delicious crab wontons and very good yum yum sauce, however, we have been 4 times where our table and multiple other tables around us have been frustrated in the wait staff. There is no dedicated hostess, so the waitresses are seating parties, serving food cleaning tables - literally everything. In return there is a lot of waiting around. There are usually only about half the number of waitresses that should be working to begin with, and they are stretched very thin. They are lacking organization in how tables are managed, so it takes forever to get your drinks, and then you wait for your appetizers and wait for your soup and wait for your food and wonder where your waitress went. We keep giving it chances because we do love the food, but it can be very frustrating. They would probably have much more repeat business if they could resolve...

This place is so cool. A local artist did the art on the walls and it just feels refreshing and at home. The service was amazing. It was prompt quick and genuine. The food was absolutely incredible. The super crunchy roll is a must try if you like fried rolls. Also the spicy yellowtail roll was really good as well. We can't wait to come back. Update!!! It is just keeps getting better. Fun story. My former head sushi chef is the chef!! Chef Haidar is an absolute genius with his creations!! The man is so meticulous with not only his combinations but the presentation is always superb. He can anything. Please go check this place out. The foods always fire and the service is always phenomenal. Our server Anna is alway so attentive.
