I have never experienced more incompetence by a retailer in my life. The gentleman who assisted me in ordering my phone was too concerned in watching the football game on one of the screens than to order the correct phone that had a promotion going on in December. I received the wrong phone, and had to be on the phone with AT&T for over two hours. I then proceeded to go to this AT&T store where the original football watching gentleman and his manager told me they could not fix his mistake in store, and I had to call AT&T again. While on the phone the first time, my SIM card was deactivated and my fathers SIM card was attached to my phone somehow. I will admit the football watching gentleman fixed the SIM card mix up, but while there my mothers phone lost cellular data and the manager tried to claim her SIM card conveniently “burnt out”. We managed to theoretically get the correct phone with the promotion ordered, but AT&T canceled the order the day it was supposed to arrive. We went to the store only to be told the promotion was ended and that they could not do anything to honor the deal as they are not even a real AT&T store! Apparently, this store is an “authorized retailer” and not a “corporate store”. The football watching gentleman, a white man with with glasses and dark hair, never gave any apologies for his mistake, and his manager, a white man with lighter hair, was acting like it was no big deal. Absolutely useless, just go to the AT&T store at the Greene, they are a real AT&T store. Trust...
Read moreOne of the most miserable retail experiences I have ever had. My parents and I visited this store to replace a screen protector on my iPhone. They insisted on looking up our customer account before allowing me to just purchase the protector and leave- fine, they look up the account. As they were looking at our family plan they asked about our internet service, we declined the conversation and instead of respecting that the customer associate went to get the manager and dialed another manager on the phone. They continued to try and high pressure sales my parents into their fiber plan. All the while, they held the screen protector and would not allow me to just purchase it and leave. As we told the associate and the manager you are making us uncomfortable and we are in a hurry, they responded with "we are salesmen." Noted! The irony being I was in the middle of a purchase to buy the screen protector I was just not interested in the product they were attempting to push. We have been customers for decades and are contributing patrons. If you are a customer in need of service this branch is not for you. If you want to be violated and bullied into buying internet...
Read moreWe walked in to the store and were welcomed by Hunter. We told him that someone had opened an account in our name and we did not authorize it. He immediately said that he could not help us because that is not a corporate store. I need to document everything because of the fraud, so I asked him for a card and told him I had to write the CEO of AT&T about their refusal to help. So then I asked if he would just look up the fraud website for me. He said "No I will not help you because you threatened to report me to my boss". So at that we left the store. This FRAUD that AT&T has allowed someone to commit has been the most frustrating thing we have ever encountered and AT&T is refusing to help at any level, not on phone and not in both stores we have visited. AT&T allows someone to open an account online in someone's else's name and they refuse to help the person in whose name the account was opened, even if that person is the one that will not pay the bill. If AT&T were the only company offering phones, I would not...
