GameStop — Local services in Centerville

I certainly am a big fan of Gamestop. For the obvious reasons like amazing selection, friendly environment, lots to look at for the browsers as well as rare and exotic game accessories. But the main reason i like Gamestop is because the employees that are hired have a very vast knowledge of not only the games, but also each of the consoles and the hardware, software, networks and specs that go along with them. So when you go in to buy a new console you can expect to walk out fully understanding the basics at least of what you just purchased. That alone is reason enough to give Gamestop a try. Check em out, they do not disappoint. Now dont hold it against me if you happen to go into a Gamestop and the staff member that helped you was not up to my review standards. There has to be a bad apple in the bunch somewhere, nothing is perfect, cant win it all the time, better luck next time. There is meaning to all these sayings ya know 😁

Came in to sell two used iPhones that both screens were broke and he first said both phones don even turn on and can only give me 7$. And I thought it was weird cause I know the screens was just broken so get home and plug them in myself and actually give it a second to be plugged in and both of them turned on but just screens broke right? So I call back and say hey they do work. So how much would u give me for them now considering they aren’t broken and so turn on and he flat out just said 7$ still like them turning on made no difference. The it website says 24$ for damaged iPhone yet he’s saying his system says only 7$ for literally different iPhones and years. No wonder game stop is going out of business. I literately was wanting what the websitetrade wanted and he was offering me the bare minimum for any iPhone. 7$ for a phone 11 and Xr that both turn on just need screens is a joke like GameStop do better cause I went to just a random phone shop that buys used phones. Guess how much they offered me for the same phones and both of us was happy????? Do better GameStop or go...

I wish I could give zero or negative stars. Almost every single interaction I have had at this GameStop has been terrible. In the past I have always been a regular at the GameStop stores near me…but this is not that place. There have been times where the manager forced my small daughter to say to him that she wanted a code for her Pokémon game, which came of real creepy. Most times I am talked down to like I am wasting their time. It feels like they are on a power trip. I don’t bring my children in there, as most of the older workers make weird, off putting comments. I would rather drive further to another GameStop than go to this one. If I were you, go somewhere else. Other GameStop stores are fine, just keep your children out...
