William R. Smith Park — Attraction in Centerville

Nice hometown park. Small playground, but lots of room to run around. If you are planning an event, you can reserve the pavilion. There are bathrooms, but no indoor facilities for gathering, so the weather will be a factor for anything you have planned.

One of our most favorite parks, especially since it was remodeled about 3 or 4 years ago. No fence from main road so you still need to watch your children obviously, just like at any park. Common sense. We especially love it during the autumn time. We love just walking around. Unfortunately this year they lost a few tress and lots of branches but its still beautiful! The only real problem with Founders park is the lack of parking. The lot on site is used by the school (when in session) and during events all neaby spaces and lots are inadequate.
