If you're on the hunt for a fast-food experience that combines efficiency, flavor, and a touch of West Coast charm, then look no further than In-N-Out Burger. I recently had the pleasure of diving into their secret menu "double-double animal protein style" burger, and let me tell you, it did NOT dissapoint!
First things first, the drive-thru experience was a breeze. As I pulled up into the line, I was greeted by an upbeat employee who had a smile on her face, and an amazing attitude! My order was taken with lightning-fast precision, and before I could even ponder the mysteries of the universe, the line surged forward. I paid at the first window, and when I moved to the second window my food magically appeared! It was piping hot and ready to be devoured.
Now, I know what you're thinking: "Fast food during the lunch rush? Are you out of your mind?" Well, let me assure you that In-N-Out Burger has truly mastered the art of getting you fed in record time. Despite the long line of hungry patrons, the line moved with the swiftness of an Olympic sprinter, and I was in and out (pun intended) before I could finish humming my favorite catchy tune.
But let's get to the star of the show—the food! Oh boy, where do I even begin? The "double-double animal protein style" burger was a marvel to behold. Picture this: two juicy beef patties, lovingly smothered in their signature spread, sandwiched between crisp lettuce leaves and stacked with all the fixings. It was a flavor explosion in every bite, leaving my taste buds dancing the Macarena (yes, they have some killer moves).

Read moreI've only eaten at in n out burger 3 times. Sorry it's good but not all that. There are however some pretty good and professional habits they have in this chain I'm impressed by from dress code to more professional staff. They get you through the long Disney land like line pretty timely. I went late a couple nights ago and thought I'll try it (I'll take McDonald's instead)... But the guy in the parking lot taking orders, which is a good idea, was very friendly and it's a nice idea him being out there and happy, however, when I got to the window supposedly to pay it was open with a credit card machine sitting outside the window and Noone there. I dont go hardly ever to know if that's typical or what to do atleast at mickey d's the intercom person says pay at such n such a window. Ididnt know if I was to wait, use the machine or move ahead. It was late, there were cars in front of and behind me though now there was space in front of me. Finally after a bit I honked my horn then someone finally came to that window and with a smile said hi I'm sorry about that I was doing dishes. Annoyed i asked why he was doing dishes instead of helping customers, he said he does some in-between cars pulling up. I let him know that was frustrating waiting not knowing what's going on. He kindly apologized again but I moved forward to get the food and asked for a manager. I told him the issue and he said he would talk to him and have a training about that. I feel the managers need the training if they are having that person do another job that affects the first that much. They could atleast put up a sign saying wait for attendant or something. The fries are cute but taste like they were freeze dried. The burger was aight. Wasn't at all worth the line or confusion and the food was didn't impress me as any better especially not the fries. I do however like the intentional professional atmosphere and the appearance of it and company in the...
Read moreAs someone who moved to Utah from back East, I’d heard of In N Out before. It looked unique, and the burgers “out of this world”…. Well, I can tell you they are not unique nor do they taste any different than any other fast food burger. To me it is just a step up from McDonald’s which to be fair is probably not the best analogy but it’s really the only one that I can compare it to. It is not the best organized in getting your food because everybody is crowding the front counter, waiting for their orders and the entire front counter gets very crowded.
So what is it about these burgers that everybody raves about? Could it be the bun? Could it be the condiments? Could it be the cheese? It certainly cannot be the burger itself for there is no difference between McDonald’s, Burger King, and steak ‘n Shake. and I know that people are going to say that it is unfair for me to be able to say this, but what is so special about In-N-Out Burger?
The inside is very utilitarian and although it’s very clean, I think that we are past the 70s plastic ultra futuristic fast food decor. I think it’s time to get past the plastic chairs and tables and look at putting a new face on an old pig. So many people would go in there that are first timers and are expecting this most delicious earth shattering experience. Yes you see many people on YouTube do reviews of In-N-Out Burger. I’m left to wonder where does the rumor come from that there is anything spectacular?
Don’t get me wrong if you’re on the freeway and the choices between McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, or In-N-Out Burger. but don’t go there, thinking to yourself that you were going to be wow’s, eat drink, and be merry...
