Save yourself the trouble and go to Chick Fil A across the street. I went to this location today right before noon. Ordered my food and as I was paying with my card, the cashier brought out my drinks and set them on the counter. She told me the card transaction didn't go through and asked me to try again. I tried again and then she said my card wasn't working. I was confused as my card works just fine so I tried again. At this point she said the card reader had not been working all morning. I asked her if there was another reader and she simply said that there was another customer that left earlier because they too couldn't pay.
I told her I didn't have cash and that I guess that we weren't going to be able to pay. She quickly removed the drinks from the counter, yelled to the cook to stop preparing our food and walked away to the car at the drive through window and asked them if they had cash.
I wasn't expecting free food but why couldn't the cashier told us the reader wasn't working from the start? Lack of customer service as she just walked away. What kind of restaurant doesn't have a working card reader or at least tell their customers before placing an order? Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise. Reading from previous reviews I probably would have gotten...
Read moreOrdered a Panko breaded fish sandwich because of the picture and special, advertized at the restaurant, 2 for $6. The picture showed a nice fish sandwich with lettuce and tarter sauce coming out of the sandwich on all sides. When i opened up the sandwich, all I got was a bun with what looked like a triangled fish stick with a small smidge of sauce and NO LETTUCE at all. I know things at fast food don't always look as great as the photos but if the photo clearly shows ingredients, (which they always do) those ingedients should appear on what you ordered as well. Not the end of the world, when I got home I added some lettuce from my fridge to the sandwich and all was right with the world... except it seems this is all too frequent. Fast food is becoming bad food with I don't care attitudes from workers....
Read moreI don't know what is going on with the Carl's Jr locations in Davis County but the Centerville and Bountiful restaurants are ATROCIOUS! Carl's Jr was my favorite growing up in California, now their quality falls below McDonald's. The one employee (female) is super nice, I think she is the only one working there too. I work at a MAJOR retailer nearby, stopped in for lunch on 7/13/2023 and luckily only took 2 bites of my burger before realizing the meat was bad. Unfortunately I still paid the price and had to leave work early.
Not sure if employees ( foreign born) don't care about rancid food being served or are not properly trained but this is the last time I eat at Carl's Jr.
Sad to see it go...
