Comp-Prime Computers — Local services in Centralia

I stopped by Comp-Prime because my PC was experience boot problems. I had taken my pc apart the night prior to make sure all connections were good, look for an evidence of damage, and to perform a basic clean of the dust. Without luck, I resigned that it must be a part that is no longer working. When I stopped into Comp-Prime, Lars was there. He quickly came out of the back and greeted me when I came in. I walked him through my problem and without hesitation he offered his help. He walked me through all costs and took my information and my PC. I feared the worst as boot issues that lock up even on bios are usually expensive (motherboards, cpu). I got a call from Lars a couple of hours later, where he shared that the problem had been isolated and found. He was able to locate a stick of RAM that had gone bad - which of all the parts to go bad, this is a best news case scenario. He removed the bank of 2 RAM sticks and let me know the other 2 are good. Lars also informed me he updated my bios and graphics drivers as they were also not up do date. The service I received was top notch, professional, and courteous. I appreciate the service, promptness, and at an affordable price....

My 1 year old computer was acting so strange, graphics flicking, freezing, videos not playing. Such odd behavior and I thought it was a dying graphics card, or ram. Stopped by to have a computer looked at and the tech immediately explained why it was non repairable. Spent a half hour going over options with me and helping me find the best fit for exactly what I needed. Didn't try and upsell me or waste time trying to sell me something off the shelf.
