What an amazing experience of a store! So welcoming! I stopped in here today looking for Malanrigo Rios yarn. They had it at such a good price I was able to get 2 extra skeins! The store is a Little hard to find but, the staff is welcoming , very knowledgeable, and polite. I’d recommend any level of knitter, crocheter, felter , or other fiber craft hobbiests at all levels to check this place out. I truly felt today like, if my 12 yr old walk in here she’d even leave happy with all the materials and knowledge she’d need. No more and no less. Some stores can feel like you’re an outsider. This store made me feel like I’d been a customer for years. Great prices if you’re looking for good quality fibers for heirloom textile projects. Wish I lived closer. They have tables. I am a new (like brand new) knitter who chose a very big, pretty complicated project for my first attempt. I went to The Artful Yarn today for a “Fix it Friday” session to get through a portion of the pattern that really had me stumped. I arrived feeling discouraged, frustrated, and dumb. Tiffany worked with me patiently and with good humor. She clearly explained what I needed to do, and she pointed me towards some other resources on the internet which will be extremely helpful going forward. She also showed me an alternative way of tensioning my yarn (continental) than I was using (throwing) which has made my knitting go much faster. I left the shop feeling confident and energized. I should add, I didn’t purchase the yarn for my project from this shop and, in spite of that, they were very happy to work with...

Found this amazing little shop on accident while visiting Chagrin Falls, and felt welcome immediately upon entering. The owner was a delight when helping me find what I didn’t know I was looking for, and even took the time to speak to my brother a bit about his sewing.

The entrance was a little difficult to find, so for those unfamiliar go through the doors to the left of the olive oil shop and follow the signage inside the building.

I can’t recommend this shop enough, if you’re thinking about going: go! I love the yarn I got, and am proud to be a ‘fiber friend’. Best shop...
