Olympia Candy Kitchen is a wonderful place for handcrafted chocolates and gourmet candy. It's been family owned and operated by the Pananes family for almost a hundred years. I used to work seasonally here making candy around Easter. Will and his son Tony are great people to work for. It was always hard work carving chocolate molds or making sure the chocolate covered pretzels and other goodies like pecan turtles came out perfectly, but Will and Tony always wanted the best for our customers and wanted their employees to do their best as well. It is silky and smooth, quite possibly one of the best tasting chocolates I’ve ever tried. The wide variety of cremes, nuts, and fruits inside are an added treat. We live over an hour away and so we called and talked to Tony, a manager. He said that he would refund our money and send a check. It’s been two weeks since he told us he would refund our money and we have not received the check. We used to live in Shippensburg and bought candy here all the time.
