Great facility. Very clean, well equipped, and the hours can't be beat.
Pros: One of the cleanest gyms I've been in. Nice, well-maintained and/or new equipment. 24-hour access. Multiple squat racks and deadlift stations. Nice barbells with good spin and knurling. None of those stupid 12-sided plates. Only one Smith machine wasting space. Chalk is allowed. Very few classes, so studio is usually available. Free one-week trial.
Cons (mostly nitpicky): 2.5lb increments (instead of 5lb.) would be nice for low- to mid-weight dumbbells. No duplicates of dumbbell sets, so weights in the more commonly used low- to mid-weight ranges are frequently already in use. Squat racks have fixed, rubber-coated pegs; running into the next peg up while unracking threw me off a couple times when working near my 1RM. Also, the non-adjustable safeties make them less than ideal for things like rack pulls. Lack of training bars and normal circumference, sub-45lb bumper plates, so not great for Oly training.
Overall, I would highly recommend if you're a new gym-goer or don't otherwise have a specific need they don't meet. If I didn't need a better Oly setup than they have, I probably would have extended past the...
Read moreIt's probably an ok gym, but I just stopped in real quick as I was passing through (I travel a lot for work). The bathrooms need an "occupied" sign since the members here seem to need to use the bathroom a lot. Definitely needs a better lock on the door since someone was successfully managing to undo the lock. They stopped when I pushed it back in, and asked them to stop because "it's obviously locked stupid"
I don't think I would like to ever stop in here again.
Also, I am discovering that a lot of people who work out real hard at the gym, are not real smart. Been working on the wrong muscle bruh'
Definitely a good idea to blame the customer. Odd the previous attempts by people resulted in a locked door, but this 1 individual after fiddling was able to get the lock to start to become unlocked. Do with that what you will. I won't be back for sure now, and am not as sure now that the overall gym experience would be better.
Maybe you are the one trying to sneak in on people. It was all rather odd, and your reply implies a deeper creepiness.
Again, better locks would help. I've never had this issue at other AF's so pretty sure I am not stupid, and have the basic ability to...
Read moreThis gym not only has one of the best atmospheres, but also a great selection of equipment with several racks for bench press, squatting, fixed equipment, free-weights, and cardio equipment. I've had a membership to Anytime Fitness for nearly 6 years and this was by-far the best one that I had the luxury of attending, especially as a regular. Great atmosphere with a good balance of students and non-students - mixed with incredible owners who were able to navigate the pandemic with great caution and care. This gym spoiled me as I now find myself moving across states and find other Anytime Fitness gyms nowhere near the size, selection, or care of this gym. Having to cancel, they were very understanding and wished me the best moving forward.
I walked into this gym initially weighing 310 lbs, I leave behind weighing a 225 lbs. A great space for anyone at any...
