I have been here twice. The first time, I was in an excellent mood, and wanted to try it. The food, the service, everything was excellent. I told my friends and coworkers about it, but I wouldn’t fully sign off on it.
It was new; I was in an excellent mood; so perhaps it was a fluke.
Today, I was in a terrible mood. I didn’t want to be around me. I was walking around, trying to blow off steam, and as I passed by I wanted to check their hours on the door. 9pm closing and it is 7:40… alright, I think I liked it before, and what’s the alternative? Dominos? Wingstop?
Everyone was very friendly and attentive immediately, which started making me feel better. The atmosphere was lovely and calm: The food was fantastic: I hadn’t romanticized it.
If I were to complain, this would be the moment.
But no, my frown was turned upside down and for $20 including tip (seriously, compare that to Subway where I spent $13 on a six inch) I got a great atmosphere, awesome food, and they refill your ramen.
Seriously, and the jury is still debating as I a bit of a foodie, but I will say: this is the best damn restaurant to pop up in the last five years. They have much more than ramen, but I am just so impressed....

Read moreReally really good! Didn’t want to deal with the graduation rush on campus, so tried this place out. Absolutely amazing! Food came out fast and we agreed we thought it was better than Oozu Ramen, although it was about the same price. The portions were perfect, and if you want more, you can get refills on your noodles! Highly recommend the shrimp tempura and the pork belly or chicken ramen. Very cute decor inside, great atmosphere. Seems to be a family business, too. The only minor complaint was that the waiter could have stopped by the table more often, but I think he also helps in the kitchen, so I will give him a pass. Ittonken just recently opened and I hope they stay open for...
