I have had my hair cut at this salon for over a decade, and never had a complaint until this last visit. My hair was really long -- because I love it long -- so I asked the stylist for a trim. The next thing I knew, she had cut three inches off. Worse, because she.knew I was not happy, she then began to lecture me about what poor condition it was in, because it was "old" hair and how terrible it looked. Then she told me how much she disliked long hair. I was kind of in shock at that point, and it's been about a month now and I can finally write this. I had been going to her for some time and found both the cut, taking off more than I wanted without discussing it with me before she did it, and what she said to me and how she said it, to be highly disrespectful and insulting. Although not a frequent customer, I always tipped well and tried to buy some product to help her out. I know we all have bad days, but.she is the second stylist at that salon who has acted like my preference is unimportant and they know better. What I know is, I will find another place where the stylists are respectful and do what they are being asked to do...

I had come here a couple of years ago and was excited to see the stylist who said she lived in Rantoul. Instead I was greeted from the back of the room by a voice that said they would be up there in a minute. No one was in the place and 5 minutes later, red hair lady with glasses came up and asked if I had an appointment and I said “ no”. She said, for the last 2 years they have taken appointments only ( with a snarky voice) and I said, I have been standing here for nothing and am from out of town.’” And she rambled on that they are booked and good luck to you in getting a haircut anywhere, it is graduation week, as I was trying to escape her wrath and attitude. You didn’t ruin my day, but I hope to ruin yours with this review. Get a new job lady, your customer service...

I moved back "home" to Illinois in April and I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a hair stylist. I don't have to experiment any more, Vivian was amazing and my hair looks perfect. Yes, even the next day after it was dried and styled at home. She listened to what I wanted, asked before she went to far, talked to me about color that I do myself and when she said she knew how to razor cut, she really meant she knew how! I like my hair super short in sort of a choppy pixie cut and I would post a pic, but I hate photo's of myself! The shop was CLEAN and the other stylists were friendly. My...
