The City Center — Local services in Champaign

I went to the City Center in Champaign Illinois for the first time on March 22nd 2019. I went and saw Jackyl. Which was Awesome!! But better yet was the facility itself. As I walked in I noticed a huge open floor area in which to see the concert which in some areas for more money of course could have got you closer to the band. I chose to buy a Mezzanine ticket not knowing what to expect. And let me tell you, I'm really glad I did. There was a loung area and tables and chairs at the railing but even better you had your own private bar and restrooms up there. I will be going back to see Buck Cherry and many more shows and I can tell you where I'll be buying. My ticket. And the view from up there was Fantastic!! Great job...

Terrible venue. Unwilling to accommodate for people with disabilities. Had tickets for the Party Pit for Static-x which we thought seating was available for. Seating is only in mezzanine which we didn’t know as there was no description of what the party pit was on their website. When I spoke to 4 different staff members of the Chitty Center, they could absolutely care less about swapping our tickets for seated ones and just flat out said no. I was willing to pay more on the spot to get seats so my wife, who has MS, could see the show & be comfortable. Totally Uncaring. We will NEVER go back & I will make sure I tell everyone to avoid the Chitty Center...
