Patel Brothers in Chandler stands out as a premier destination for Indian groceries and cultural items. Situated at 1315 S Arizona Ave, this vibrant store is a treasure trove for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich flavors and traditions of India.A Haven for Indian Spices and Masalas: One of the highlights of Patel Brothers is its extensive selection of Indian spices and masalas. From everyday essentials like turmeric and cumin to more exotic blends, the store provides a vast array of options to elevate your cooking. Whether you are preparing a simple dal or a complex biryani, you will find the perfect spices to bring your dishes to life. Delicious Bakery and Snack Options: The in-store bakery and deli are a true delight, offering a variety of freshly made items. Besides their famous samosas, you can savor vadapav, pav bhaji, and other beloved Indian snacks. Additionally, the store carries a range of traditional Indian bread, including chapatis, theplas, and jowar bhakris, all made fresh daily. Unique Finds and Treats: One of my personal favorites at Patel Brothers is their selection of Andhra pickles, which are bursting with authentic flavors and spices. The store also boasts a phenomenal range of Indian ice creams, offering everything from classic mango and kesar pista to more unique flavors like Rose Falooda, matka kulfi and many more. This impressive variety makes it easy to find something for every palate A Cultural Experience: Beyond groceries, Patel Brothers offers a wide range of cultural and religious items, from pooja supplies to beautiful Indian artifacts. This makes it more than just a grocery store—it's a place where you can connect with the rich traditions of India and find all the essentials for cultural celebrations. Note: if you're looking for something indian and can't find it, call them. There's a good chance...

In my search for an Indian grocery store, I discovered Patel Brothers situated on South Arizona Avenue in Chandler, AZ.

If you're in the mood for some authentic Indian culinary delights and a spice extravaganza, this is the place to be!

As I ventured into Patel Brothers, I was greeted by an impressive array of fresh vegetables in the veggie aisle. The variety was truly astounding, showcasing a rainbow of colors and textures. From vibrant bell peppers to leafy greens, they had it all, ensuring that you'll find the freshest ingredients for your home-cooked Indian feasts.

But that's just the beginning! As I wandered further, I stumbled upon the section housing an assortment of freshly made Indian bread. Oh boy, the aroma of freshly baked chapati, methi thepla, and bhakri filled the air.

Very disappointed with the quality and customer service.

I bought a coconut from Patel Brothers Chandler, and when I got home and opened it, it was completely rotten. I called the store the first time they said they don’t accept returns on coconuts. When I called again, someone agreed to exchange it. I made a trip back to the store and exchanged it, but the person at the counter told me they wouldn’t accept returns again in the future.

Unfortunately, the second coconut was also rotten and stinking. I called and politely informed them that I didn’t want another exchange I just wanted them to be aware of the issue. The lady I spoke with apologized and said they would check the stock.

Today, during my visit, I mentioned the issue to the counter staff again, and to my surprise, he sarcastically said, ā€œThis happens only with you no one else has complained.ā€ I asked him to check his Google reviews how many had similar concerns , I’m not the only one who has faced this.

Very poor customer service and absolutely no quality control when it comes to perishables like coconuts. Avoid buying coconuts from here unless you want a surprise when...

This morning, I visited Patel Brothers to buy some groceries, and my kids wanted to try the ready-to-drink fresh coconuts available at the store. I purchased two coconuts and brought them home. While my son was drinking his, he noticed something unusual and started peeling the outer layer. To my shock, the entire coconut was covered in fungus. I immediately checked the one my 2-year-old daughter was drinking, and it had the same issue. Concerned, I called Patel Brothers to report the problem and requested a refund. Unfortunately, they refused, saying they don’t provide refunds for coconut drinks. I’m not just upset about the refund refusal but deeply concerned about their disregard for customer safety and product quality. Selling spoiled products, especially those intended for immediate consumption, is unacceptable. I strongly advise against purchasing any stored food from this store. Their lack of concern for quality is alarming. I plan to report this incident to the food safety department to ensure accountability.

This store opened a few months ago. It is nice and has many selections not available at the smaller stores around. They have a large selection of fresh produce and ample frozen foods too. Flour, rice, lentils and prepacked Indian snacks are available, along with freshly made Indian snacks for purchase, such as samosas. Freshly made rotis and thepla are the staples of convenience when it comes to Indian meals. So when I heard Patel Brothers was opening I made the 30 min drive from my town to Chandler just to shop there. I visited this store on Wednesday and purchased many items, to include roti and methi theplas. After returning I stuck them in the fridge. By Friday, they had molded. Picture is included. Only 2 days after purchase. So obviously quality control is something the store needs to look into. Maybe they can add a ā€œpacked onā€ date to the wrapper so you know if you are purchasing something old. I’ll go there again but be extra careful when buying the fresh foods.
