Gold Chef — Restaurant in Chandler

I’ve been dining here since 2018 and I used to like it . They recently updated and added new items on the menu but didn’t update the prices on some items so when I paid, prices were higher. How does one update the menu to add items but not update and change the prices? Volcano chicken and Korean chicken is not appetizing at all. The person answering the phone told me Korean chicken was breaded with brown sauce , she got confused with katsu chicken so I had to call back and ask if she was certain she gave me the correct info . She ended up asking the cooks what Korean chicken was then acted like she knew the whole time. I don’t recommend their Korean chicken and volcano chicken - horrible. Volcano chicken was dry spice rub and they dumped the dry spices which was not edible and bitter because they cooked it on the wok too long causing it to burn. It’s not Chinese but wanted to try their style ; bad choice on my end. Food is more oily than before! I ordered vegetable lomein with shrimp added. The woman on the phone was very short with me, repeated my order, I confirmed it was correct and she said Bye and hung up on me. She didn’t take my name, number or even give me a pick up time. I got there, was ignored for about 5 minutes then the same woman said “vegetable lo mein?” I said “yes, vegetable lomein with shrimp.” She said No, Just vegetable lomein. I said no, I ordered vegetable lo mein with shrimp added to it. She continued to tell me that they do not add any type of meat or seafood to vegetable lo mein because it comes with no meat. I told her I understood that but I ordered shrimp, which would be extra, to be added to it. She started getting an attitude and said NO vegetable lo mein does not come with shrimp and again I said I know that I ordered shrimp extra but she stopped, looked right at me and told me how much it the bill was. This place my family and I and Fraze have gone to this restaurant once before our very first experience was great food was fresh however, my family and I had ordered out and the food was all stale and when I called them to let them know how disappointed that we were. They were rude and inconsiderate, and offered me a bowl of fried rice for the replacement, I thought that was the most bizarre and we went to the restaurant. We spent 20 minutes there waiting for food which was my food was fresh food was hot and it was good that we ordered out took us less than seven minutes to get to the place to pick it up, which was already on the counter waiting , I thought that was bizarre. I spent almost $80 and end up throwing everything away. It was very disappointing. I hate to say it but these kinds of restaurants like this one that where food isn’t fresh and management and employees were rude.
