This was not a good day for Byerly's or me!! I had ordered for pick-up today 4 dozen beignets.....2 doz chocolate and 2 doz custard. 48 donuts, right?? When I called to check today prior to pick up, I was told that they had the wrong pick up day (they thought it was yesterday) and the beignets had been put out on the shelves yesterday, They said they would be happy to pull them off the shelves for me to pick up today. No discount for day old stuff!! When I picked up there were 6 packs of 6 donuts each. I mentioned that I had ordered 4 dozen....and this was only 36. But she "assured me" that this order was 4 dozen. Is it my math or hers?? I did not have time to fight with her so I took the 3 dozen and will have to sub in something else. THEN, I get them home and notice that they are chocolate HAZELNUT!! And me with guests with nut allergies!! Why was this not mentioned when I ordered them? They were represented as chocolate filled and nothing else. What a fiasco!! (I still suspect that these were the ones they made on Wed, put out on shelf on Thursday and then sold me me as fresh today!) But wait...there's more! So I pick up a rotesserie chicken and large salad for family dinner tonight. The chicken was pink inside and I had to put it in my oven to finish cooking it to make it safe to eat. Hope no one gets sick. The salad, which was mostly fixin's as I had greens at home, was inedible. The "roasted" vegies were almost raw and could not be chewed.; the brussel sprouts were not cleaned properly and were so tough we had to trim the bottoms off in order to eat them. C'mon Byerly's...you know you have competition in the neighborhood !! People shop with you for QUALITY and not this haphazard service and snafu after snafu. We rely on your reputation for quality service and this...

Purchased a 20 year old Porto (about $45) from this store few months ago during their wine Sale event. Open the bottle during occasion last weekend. Staff was spoiled. Took it back to Store for refund. Guess what: they don’t want to even admit this was theirs. Manager smiled and said the he is sorry, but don’t know what to do, as they don’t sell this product anymore, so he does not know how much to refund. He was looking at me that I have intentionally drink a good staff and now trying to get a refund. I walk out of the store and tossed the bottle in the garbage can at the front of their store. End of story. Well. $45 is not going to make me poor or reach and this was not about the money to begin with. I just wanted justice and simple apology would have done just fine. Point is: They sold me a product that was bad and on the top make me feel like a crook when I told them that. Hope that this manager (who was at the store on 2/9/2015 around 1PM) gets fired, as he does not belong in position that allow him to interact directly with the customers. As result: You won’t get my business anymore! And YES, I do spent around $2500 a year on the spirits. I guess different shore needs that $$ more than...

I have been customer since my mommy sent me to Hove’s in Edina. I have preferred every name it’s been called. I have shopped many L&Bs… never disappointed.

Chan is my neighborhood venue since the store opened. Today, November 25, 2023 I did a regular in store pick up. Note that curbside here is perfection plus. I know staff all over the store including general Mgr Gene Lotts who is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Let’s put it this way I start with Steve and Erik in seafood/meat… and trust me every department has champions down to Sally and Nicole cashiers first class, and Elizabeth and Chris for carry out support.

Today there were all unknown to me cashiers. I was helped by Jenevieve, who looked 20 years old and had skill of a veteran. The young woman who skillfully “bagged” my order did so exactly as I would.

People who say L&B is too expensive amaze me. The price to value ratio is in customer’s favor!

One complaint: I don’t like to see resources wasted on self check out. Really no excuse for it. L&B wants everyone happy. I say go to Cashier Sally if you want speed, sanitation...
