I have been using Pilgrim Drycleaners since the the summer of 2008. I used the Eden Prairie location for several years and occasionally something would get ruined but they always paid for it and that's why I continue to give them my business. Now I have been using the Chanhassen location for several years. When I go in to drop things off I like to deal with the manager. She always has given me good customer service until now. When I bring in my clothing I always look it over for any spots, lint roll it if needed and have it neatly folded before I put it in the bag. Shortly after father's day I brought in a linen shirt I had bought at the Sundance store in the Galleria. This was the second time I had wore it. I wore it to brunch for Father's Day for a couple of hours. Due to how hot it was that day I decided to get it cleaned even though it didn't really need it. The first time it was cleaned they did a wonderful job. They had it folded and hanging over the hanger which is my preference so it doesn't leave hanger marks. When I dropped it off I left it with the manager and told her there was no rush to get it back. When I went to pick it up the manager was on vacation and someone else was filling in for her. When I was walking to the car I noticed that it was hanging from the hanger rather than folded and over it. So I lifted up the bag to look at it and it was a wrinkled mess like you just dug it out of the bottom of a dirty clothes. So I brought it back in and showed it to the girl so they could fix it. I wasn't happy about it. Nothing professional about that. It was in great condition when I originally dropped it off. Went back to pick it up for the second time and now it was folded and hung over the hanger but it looked like the color was missing in a big spot across the front. Now my linen shirt is no longer wearable. Although they have yet to make it right. They are trying to tell me the material was defective. I am really sick of hearing that when a Drycleaners damages something. Years ago at the Eden Prairie location they tried that when they put a hole in my son's insulated sweatshirt I bought from Von Maur. It had a spot on the front pocket I showed to them when I brought it in. When I picked it up there was no longer a spot now it was a hole. They tried to tell me I brought it in that way and it was from the seatbelt in the car. They eventually paid for it and that's the only reason I came back. Well this time they are not making good for the damage to my shirt. That's why I am writing...
Read moreFirst time using them they left train tracks when pressing dress pants. I came back to have my pants and suite coat cleaned again and mentioned the train tracks. No compensation offered. I came back to pickup my laundry and said I had a coupon. I am then told the most ridiculous thing imaginable. You have time submit your coupon when dropping off your clothes. Terrible service. Won't be returning.
Update:. I received a call back and was offered a credit to represent my coupon and a credit for the first cleaning of my pants. I am willing to give them another shot. I was told their system will accept a coupon at pickup, but technically should be processed at drop off. This all seems fair so I am giving them 4...
Read moreI am in the area for work and asked "the Google" for a dry-cleaners near me. A few options came up and I chose Pilgrim due to others' glowing reviews. As soon as I walked in the store, I was greeted by Maddie and she quickly added my information into the system. Easy in, easy out. About 26 hours later, I received a text stating my shirts were ready, even though I did not request next-day service. My clothes were well pressed and I even receive a $5 off the next visit. I will continue to use this business. Great customer service (thanks Maddie) and a...
